My half of an art trade with of their super cool bird creature, a Kiiresh'i, catching one last bit of dinner before the day's over.I had so much fun with this piece, and I admit I was also very nervous. I don't usually do backgrounds, especially with WATER (that actually looks good this time!) and bold colors. But for me, this has been a major confidence boost, something I really needed on a personal self-esteem level.

The background is really impressed! I love the sunset and the clouds, and the waves are so detailed they must have been a nightmare to color! The creature is very well done, the pose is dynamic and the wings looks very detailed and anatomically correct. The only thing that feels odd is the fact that there are no wing feathers showing under the left armpit of the beast. It could also be the angle, especially if the wings are not moving in a symmetric motion due to the fact that the creature is maneuvering. So it can also be just the angle, depending on what the creature is doing.
