I don't know the backstory, but the artwork is superb. I love the antique color of the background - makes it seem like you're viewing a historical art piece, but one that has not yet succumbed to the fading of the ages. The clarity and sharpness of each figure, their expressions, and how well you captured their in game likeness, as well as all the extra details (stone walls, armor detailing, etc.) is just breathtaking. And Alistair's expression is just epic win and had me laughing.
