this time I might just disappear ♪
tbh I’m disappointed there’s like zero fanart of Héctor with Lewis from MSA, considering how similar their tragic backstories are, I mean?? they're both skeleton ghosts who used to be dudes with pretty good lives before they got murdered by their close friends and lived in misery ever since (except in Coco, The-Dapper-Bara-Guy and The-Skinny-Guy-With-A-Goatee switched places, ironically)
anyway, have this crossover thingy because I needed to get it out of my system c:

It was very close, but Héctor didn't disappear in the end. Neither of them will be. Héctor Rivera will be remembered as the true best musician in Mexican history, Ernesto de la Cruz as the man who stole his legacy and his life. Neither will surely see the Final Death for a very long time. For Héctor, this is good. But for Ernesto... he will never be forgotten, but he will never be revered. He will receive fewer and fewer offerings from the Land of the Living, and he will be alone.
