Sleepy Raito + L's face way too close to his own = Comedy.

My (disgustingly late) birthday gift for teh Torren... Raito and L argue over who has to jump out of the cake, while Ryuuku eats his apples and laughs at them. Yes, they're from Death Note... Yes, Torren has corrupted me YET AGAIN... I spent the last two days downloading all the currently scanlated chapters and reading them, as well as drawing this... I got the idea yesterday, sketched it up, started linearting, went to see Spider-man 2 (and now I can't stop listening to Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional... -_-;; ), finished linearting, watched Throw Mama from the Train, and stayed up all night pondering about coloring and actually doing it. Bleh. My eyes feel gritty...

Random note: this is read from left to right because I am an incurable American... Hmm... I really like how all of this turned out, but pannel two has got to be my favorite part. (Hooray for L's eyes. ) Also, the "two-inches-from-yaoi" in pannel three amuses me... XD Yay.

Happy birthday mongoose girl. :'D (You better be greatful... I drew Ryuuku for you, and I had a bitch of I time doing it because anything Angie can't make cute and fluffy doesn't translate well into her style... And lord knows that there is NOTHING on earth that can make Ryuuku cute and fluffy.)
