Birthday gift for my friend Zochkii
I felt like drawing Vera again, I really like her design :3
This started as a more open field with some foliage, but in the process I started adding trees and more trees... and ended up taking this as a chance to practise with barks, and the idea of drawn leaves as well. I'm not sure of what to think of it yet, some critiques are welcome as always.
I tried to capture a serene and warm atmosphere to accompany the lynx's sleep. An afternoon on the begining of autumn, perhaps?
The rock was my favorite part once again, it's just so pratical when you have an idea in mind :3

I want to set as a goal to draw a picture without trees next time, I feel like they're just "fillers" and I want to try new scenerios.
I like the color palette I picked for this, earning compliments even from my sister (who usually won't point specific things on my drawings)
Anyways, I hope you're having a nice day! life can be stressing and challening, but sometimes you just need patience and a good sleep to lift your spirits again, just like Vera here!
