Just world building. stuff. and...etcAellin reside in Aellindul, a country almost entirely placed within a snowy mountain range. the mountain, now a dormant volcano, gives surplus amount of metal which gives the Aellin an edge over many other countries in terms of metal working.
seen here:
*cone shaped helmet, lined with padded cloth(inside)
*flippable facemask, a protection against the elements and light attacks as well as debris and also used during whiteouts.
*thick frontal neck protection of padded cloth, lined with leather flaps(on the inside). protection from combat as well as the elements
*chest and shoulder armour, consists of hardened leather with white cloth tightly stretched over it and glued in place with tar.

Glad you like it. I was drawing a version with more of the armor showing as well as their main weapon which is a mace. Unfortunately, I never got around to finishing it.

I like how you thought of how all the armour details would actually help them combat the freezing terrain. Lots of thought went into the design! Your painty stuff is looking good!
