~To the north and west of Iblissia reside the mysterious filimuri, an aquatic humanoid race which base their society on abyssal tablets. They call their home Filimus, a series of islands and underwater mountains which they build within. Highly resistant to the cold and natural swimmers, the filimuri make for excellent waterborne scouts and there are few who can match their prowess in the deeps. They are part of the Thaya Kinos and make trade with all others within their alliance. Though not the most impressive wizards, their mystics are notable for strong electrical capacity. Their most noteworthy talents rest within their underwater combat capabilities and their piken units. Their artisans are also fairly well known.
Most filimuri appear humanoid with flesh ranging from close to that of an elf to more rubbery. Nearly all filimuri sport at least one horn from their head which glows in the dark similarly to their predatory eyes. Their appearance is frequently hauntingly beautiful and has led to many misconceptions about their nature being calm and polite, yet the razors in their mouths say otherwise. Even the lesser among them still sport pleasant to view visages. Typically they are seven to eight feet tall and can dwarf most other races, but still pale when compared to their thay'valay allies. They are long and lanky. Their skin tones tend toward shades of purple, teal, blue, and black. The darker parts of their skin tend to be coarser and more solid. They wear non-soluble body paint which stains very easily.
Filimuri enjoy trade and are a naturally curious race. They are also surprisingly reasonable, but their beliefs sometimes put them at odds with other civilized races. They do not like to wear clothing, but will acquiesce when trading in talimari or thay'valay territory. They consider the waters to the north and west of Iblissia to be their home, but they are not fond of defined borders and will freely violate them. They are not opposed to structures or civilization nor laws as they themselves follow a set of rules imprinted on special tablets known as the abyss tablets. In spite of having a governing body in their lands which maintains laws, their justice system is rather weak. Many, but not all, filimuri have difficulty dedicating themselves to long term tasks. Others become obsessive of things such as building immense underwater cathedrals, fixations on types of currencies or jewels, and even potentially people. This makes those few of them excellent craftsman, leaders, or explorers. Filimuri either go with the flow or swim defiantly against it.

I haven't fully recognize them, and I may change some details later, but this is one of the races in my Derelict Dimension universe. I don't know if I would consider this the 'average' filimuri as they are just a touch more monstrous than this facially, but pretty much everything else is right. They can still be sexy like this though!
