Description Severus Snape... as a kid.

Let's just say that this was inevitable and leave it at that. Alan Rickman portrayed Severus so impeccably in "Deathly Hallows" that fan art was simply screamed for. Since children are easier for me to draw than adults, I went for a younger version of the character. Here is the reference I used:

That is, I believe, a fan photograph and not an actual screen shot from the film, but I picked this one because I liked the face on that kid more than the young actor they got for the movie.

For those of you who don't know, I've been an avid "Potter" fan for about eight years. Why I've only done a total of three pieces of fan art in regards to the series is because I have a hard time drawing people and would rather portray them accurately (or... as accurately as possible) than to have the result look like crap. Still, I absolutely had to draw Snape, even though the end product is by no means noteworthy.
