I was listening to Kestin's (Zane's, Dante's, and Eric's voice actor) cover songs the other day and amongst all of them I found "Evermore" from Beauty and the Beast (2017). The cover was outright GORGEOUS~ Not only that but I saw a Zane~Chan AU (there's probably more to it than just the ship, but that's what I saw) animatic with the song and 😍😍😍 I love it~ Both videos inspired me to draw Zane~Chan as Belle and Beast which then turned into a possible re-imagined AU of the whole series...

My AU would essentially be the same as the original series, but with a few small differences such as character design, species (Lu'pine and Meif'wa), fixed continuity errors, and a few small headcanons. Basically, the Minecraft series is re-imagined to be more like... an anime/cartoon I guess? I dunno how to describe my artstyle.

Anyway! Beauty and the Beast would be one of my headcanons in the AU which could be seen as a sub-AU instead. The way I see it is that Zane either got bit by Garroth on accident or got caught in Aaron's untamed eyes and kept it secret from everyone until Nana/Kawaii~Chan finds out. I know it's kinda cliché but I don't care cuz I love it.
