Okay, so after playing Black Mesa Source (a remake of Half-Life 1 using the Half-Life 2 engine), I wondered what other games would improve if such remakes existed. Most old NES games already have pretty decent remakes but one stood out to me among all others. Mega Man. (And don't tell me "Mega Man: Powered Up" counts, though it is a decent mediocre game, it did not faithfully capture what made the original game great).

I figured, if someone made Mega Man in Mega Man X-style (with the auto-scrolling stages, better animation and even the ability to upgrade armour and dash) it'd be awesome. I don't have any programming know-how though, so I just decided to make the sprites and see if they'd work. The more I work on these sprites, the more I want this game to exist.
