Hi all,This is my latest piece, just really a revision of Surf and Turf. I stepped up on the colours this time! I will update the comments later to explain a bit what is this about.

Hi Aya! yes it's Letraset markers (I owe you some info on how to get 'em!!) I got a full drawer full of them. I want the Copic ones but they're expensive even in Japan. It probably looks like watercolours because I like to over-saturate the page with ink.

I was a child who was ALWAYS drawing, but I sort of stopped when I was about 16 and never learned the subject(art/drawing) formally. So, my knowledge of techniques is extremely limited.
I guess I re-gained my interest for drawing only very recently, and really excited about finding out more about different techniques, mediums and subsequently, possibilities.

Interesting...my story is similar, I used to draw quite a lot until life started to require attention! I re-took it seriously 2 years ago because I realized a lot of people in the industry I work have zero drafting and compositional skills and yet they hold high positions.
Keep experimenting and enjoy drawing: concept and idea comes first, technique later

I have been drawing on and off even after I started calling drawing a "hobby" without feeling that empty ache in my stomach.
I guess I began to want to re-take it more seriously at the night at the embassy(with a super-bear). Seeing other people's works and meeting so many fellow Manga artists(including you, obviously!)was so inspiring!
The actual action of "re-taking seriously" happened only recently though, with my new project "Mr Smith". As usual, the idea came first. Let's see if I will obtain some techniques as a result!!

will in my opinion .. hands shall seem so free according to my understanding for this drawing .. unless you mean it I mean is there a concept behind not drawing them free ? it feels like they are hanged !

I guess you are right, they look hanged! but I think I wanted to give the idea of pressure, almost as if the figures are uncomfortable.

changes aplenty! i agree with the comment above the colours really suit it,the way you've laid out the images is more flowing too, you really have a way with markers
