Description 23rd attempt in nebula creation.
Base done in Apophysis, put together with the aid of PS CS3 Extended, stars and stuff added in Universe. So yeah, making this actually takes 3 programs.

I submitted it into Nature for purpose, because this is to be a natural scenery, not just a fractal. Hopefully I did a right thing and now more people can find it.

Nope - those would be original pictures taken with the Hubble telescope and others. Not sure upon the sources. It's a google image.
The pieces you mentioned are the Horse Nebula.
They're all up there in space
