Background: Ria is very young, and still considered a kit by most. She used to live in a small group with her family, but everyone except for Ria was murdered by a polar bear. This lead to Ria having to survive on her own, with almost no experience in hunting.
Personality: Overly talkative, and lacking in experience. Ria is often angry and has a fear of polar bears. She has black markings inherited from her family, which make it harder to blend in with snow.

Background: Foror used to belong to a pack, but was kicked out for stealing food. He met Ria, and feeling sorry for her loneliness, decided to stay with her. He teaches Ria about hunting, and doesn't know much about her past.
Personality: Foror is arrogant at times, considering himself handsome and popular, but Ria often takes his pride down a notch. He is skilled in fighting, and likes hunting as well. He has a slight affection for Ria.
