Writing Life:

When and why did you begin to take your writing seriously?: I decided being an author was the kind of career I would enjoy, so I figured I should start putting more effort into my drabbles and such
What inspires you to write?: My husband and family, otherwise I'm usually half-drunk so it's whatever pops into my head
Do you write primarily prose or poetry or a mixture?: A mixture, but I have been posting a lot of poetry recently. I am currently working on a novel, but I've only posted a little bit of it here
Do work in any other mediums?: I draw sometimes
What issues do you find yourself dealing with in your work?: Love and family life usually
What do you aspire to in terms of your writing?: I would like to be a novelist some day
Who do you like to read on DA?: The people I watch, that's why I watch them
Who are your favourite authors/poets outside of DA?: I do like Oscar Wilde
Do you have any writing habits/rituals?: Not really, just come up with an idea and do other stuff while it grows in my head, then write it down when I think I've got enough. Other times I'll just sit there staring at the screen trying to think of what to write.
