What is a BloodyBones:
Bloody Bones is a boogeyman feared by children, and is sometimes called Rawhead and Bloody-Bones, or Tommy Rawhead.
Bloody-Bones is usually said to live near ponds, but according to Ruth Tongue in Somerset Folklore, "lived in a dark cupboard, usually under the stairs. If you were heroic enough to peep through a crack you would get a glimpse of the dreadful, crouching creature, with blood running down his face, seated waiting on a pile of raw bones that had belonged to children who told lies or said bad words.”

Background Story:

Emie lived under the sink of an old couples home for a number of years, never getting to exercise her "talents" due to the couple never having children. The elderly couple did often see Emie and left out food for her so she would not starve (no kids mean no food). They treated her as a guest and sometimes even the child they never had. She was the shame of her small village. The small village was the perfect place for boogeyman and creatures of folklore to haunt and keep the children in line.
As time passed the small village grew into a large village and then a small town. With this change came development and with it religion. These changes swept away the superstitions that gave the creatures power and forced them to move.
Never having the chance to demonstrate her powers, Emie was at a loss of what to do. After hearing rumors about a place that trains youngin' on their powers and helps them figure out some of the messy details, she decided to head to Halloween Academy.

Appearance:

Emie does have the typical blood running down face, so show her mark as a BloodyBones. Also as per the myth she has her 'pile' of bones on her, in jewelry form, her earrings (though because she has never actually killed/attacked any kids she has the one's from the elderly couple who died before the town grew) . Her clothes are torn from her long nails and worn/stained/moldy from living under a sink.

Talent Explanation:

Emie is naturally good at hiding, moving undetected and other stealth techniques. Contortion (lived under a sink) is another natural talent.
She is ok at scaring but is very inexperienced at major frights.
Through other BloodyBones in her village she heard that BloodyBones are good at slicing with their nails (claws) and tearing with the teeth. She has yet to try.

Personality:

Emie tries very hard not to been seen and panics when she is discovered. Emie was raised by both the elderly couple and the boogeyman of her villages and due to this she can act like a 'proper' boogeyman but is often too moral for her own good. This causes some insecurities when is comes to her powers and if she can actually live up to her species job.
Emie naturally fears the sun and crosses, though she recently found she can encounter both with only mild irritation.
She is fiercely protective of those she deems as friends and often claims them as her kin.

=When Emie encounters sunlight she gets a sunburn. Crosses cause headaches.
=Her favorite animal is ferrets, then mice.
=She took the last name of the elderly couple she live with.
=Loves hot bathes and the sound of running water.
=A person she met on her travel to HA taught her the finer points of Air Guitar. She doesn't know its a real instrument.
=Emis is awkward when it comes to talking with people, though she has excellent manners.
=Her nails/teeth cause many problems for her. Writing, smiling, toothbrushes, handshakes, silverware.
=Refuses to wear shoes of any kind. They're too hard to move in.
