... Beautiful. I have afew ammonite fossils, but they're "stand-alone", they don't come in packs like here.

In the franconian Jura one is able to find quite a lot of fossils if you search abandoned quarries. But I must admit thatΒ this one is bought.

Jura ! my family originates from french Jura and we have our family house there
... I love the golden color upon the darker limestone that these ones have. when I was child I used to search fossils in the gravel of the garage alley and terrace. I actually found some tiny-micro shells (not even half of little finger's nail )

well I grew up in the franconian Jura and of course searched for fossils there as a boy. My mother wasnΒ΄t happy that I carried tons of dirty stones into our house
