Awesome. I always love having this thought of a dark side of fairy tales.

Wow! You're the best artist using biros I've seen so far. How long do you already use biros for drawing?

Thank you I only recently started using biro for proper drawings, I used to prefer pencil and just sketch with pen when I was bored at school, I just find biro better with detail on smaller drawings so I started using it for proper works.

Yeah, I also recently found out biro are really useful for sketches and shadowing (boredom at school is great inspiration ). Writing with biro is annyoing, but sketching with biro is fun

Definitely Anyway, i don't understand how you can say i am the best with biro that you have seen considering how amazing other peoples works are. I don't think i'd have nearly enough patience to put in as much detail in my drawings as you do with yours. Most of my drawings are on A5 paper so they are tiny and i barely have enough focus for that scale let alone anything bigger or with a background.

I haven't seen many artists using biro so far and out of those I've seen you are one of the best, I'm not exaggerating. Sure, our drawing styles are different, but everyone has his (or her) own style. By the way: my drawings are A5 size maximum, too; I hate doing large drawings

After i used to spend about 5 - 10 hours on one drawing, i couldn't handle A3 paper as much so now i use it very rarely. I've even done an A1 drawing and that took months to finish. I have never been more grateful for A5 in my life. I have too many ideas to spend so much time on one drawing.

Oh god, A3 paper is my arch enemy. Drawing on A5 already takes me around 15 hours (pencils are really bad for working fast  ) Therefore I wouldn't do anything bigger than that...which is also the reason why my pencils always have to be razor sharp. In school we were almost always forced to create our pictures on A3 sheets, which is only possible in time if you use water colour. And I used to hate water colour

Any form of painting is the death of me, it always goes badly, which is particularly annoying when you are forced to devote so much time to it in school.

I never understood why art teachers love painting that much and refuse to let the students draw. Or any other form of art other than painting. It would probably be better if art lessons just were like "Do something and present the result at the end of the semester, no matter what you did" instead of "Now, kids, let's paint green trees!".

All i want is to be given paper and a pencil with no instructions or limitations. My teacher tried to get me to go to a three day art class but drawing wasn't an available option by the time i applied, and when i said i didn't want to do print making instead she told me i needed to branch out of my comfort zone. It frustrates me when you know what your passion is but they force other things on you instead and in the mean time you are bored out of your mind because you are neglecting what you love to do. It doesn't make sense to me.

Okay, I love to try out new techniques and medias, but I also don't want to be forced to use something I hate (acrylic colour for exampe). I always got bad grades in art because I didn't want to follow the teacher's instructions. They were like "Paint a green tree" and I thought "Hm, this olive colour looks better though, I'm gonna use that". Luckily my last art teacher was really good. We only got the topic "light and shadows" and then we could do whatever we wanted. One of my friends did a study about the usage of light and shadows in anime culture, another one did a series of photos...that was actually pretty fun. But all these primary school teacher with their " You have to use exactly that brush and paint exactly that" isn't what art is about: creativity.

I do like trying out new things too, but when you have already tried something and hated it and they continue to push it on you, that is what i have a problem with. With school sometimes they stunt creativity rather than encourage it.
