As it turns out, in the AwesomeTouhou Universe, the man known as Jack the Ripper...
...wasn't a man at all.
It was the Impostor all along. Yep, Alice McGee was Jack the Ripper. She wore a full mask and deepened her voice to pass her off as male.
Why did she do? Because she's the Impostor, that's why. Brutally butrchering innocents is what she does.
