Those are some unusual accessories tucked into her belt.  What are they for?

The square wooden frames are gauges to measure the size of the turban shell.

AMA divers do not capture a childish turban shell passing through this gauge.

The metal spatula is a tool to capture an abalone.
Women divers insert this spatula in the husk of the abalone and the gap of the rock and tear off an abalone quickly.

Ah! Much like the plastic gauges we see on the "Deadliest Catch" TV show about Crab Fishing on the Bearing Sea.

I was curious, because I've seen square wooden cups that look much like that used for serving Sake'.

Oh! You have a lot on Japan.

Square  wooden cups called "MASU"

www.google.co.jp/search?q=%E6%…

MASU is Japanese traditional measurement containers.

The square cups I only saw for the first time when I saw pictures from the ceremony when they delivered the first 787 Dreamliner to ANA.

I actually studied Japanese when I was in college, but it's been over 20 years since I used it, so I've forgotten most of it.

Heh, Well, I admit originally I wanted to learn so that I could understand anime....  But the more I learned the more realistic my understanding of Japan became.

Oh! anime was a chance to know Japan.  It is wonderful.

Many people of the world are interested in anime and love anime and visit Japan for anime.

As for me who am a Japanese know that real Japan is not splendid like an anime.

However, I am glad that many people have an interest in Japan by animation.

Thank you!!

Yes, I learned that.  Many people who love anime are surprised and disappointed to learn that anime isn't the most important thing in Japanese culture. Then they learn that the women are not all geisha, and that Samurai Swords are actually illegal. All their dreams are crushed.

I hear about the way things are in Japan and it seems sad.  Nobody seems to want to get married or have families. The population is declining. There are entire towns that are empty.  People work so hard and don't advance.  Houses are so small, and cars are difficult to own.

I'm happy to be here. Our problems seem less when compared.  On the other hand, I don't have a beautiful Japanese woman wearing wetsuits for me.

I say once again. d(^^*) You know Japan a lot.

We surely lost most of traditional things.

Though a gunman still exists a lot in the United States, the ninja does not survive at all in Japan.

Oops! No, do several ninja exist?

The number of ninja that is about the same as beautiful women wearing a vintage wetsuit. d(^□^)|

If you knew he was there, he wouldn't be a very good ninja.

It's very hard to explain the gun situation to non-Americans.  And if I try, there might be a bad argument on your comments, and I don't want that to happen.

You will be right, about ninja and gun.

The rest is silence.

Thank you!

Frog"MAN"? Not frog"WOMAN"?
I regret to say that any frog"MAN" does not appear in this site.*:.。★(*゚ω`人)SΟЯЯΥ
Otherwise that he appears at a position tormenting the woman divers.
