After Inktober this was my first proper colored art. I missed coloring so much!!
Unfortunately my Inktober was not so successful this year.. At my workplace a lot of things were changed in October and I got so much more work that I got home late at night every day. There were some days where I just couldn't sit down to draw anything. Still, I found I improved in a few aspects and I would like to write a journal about that in the near future.
Anyway, I drew this picture first in 2007. After 10 years I made a new version but it's not so much more amazing.. And that's another thing. I feel I am improving in certain aspects but not too much? Whenever I see those amazing improvement memes I'm like.. okay. Cause in my case that improvement is not so visible and not so obvious. Still, I am happy with this drawing and in a few years I will make another version. I think my style has changed. Everything is just different. Not so much better. Just different.

This is the one from 2007. It's digital coloring so there is not much to compare there since it's a completely different medium. However, nowadays I enjoy traditional coloring much more. The eyes are messed up, the scarf pattern-solution is horrid but otherwise.. I mean it WAS 10 years ago. Could have been 2 or 3. Not much change visible in my drawing technique to me.
