I *finally* got her right, as I originally intended -- Buhikas as the age she is in the story. I'm really pleased with how I handled the lighting of her strange space-magic and how it casts on her clothes and such! And originally the "finished" piece was a lot more washed out - then while I was playing around in Photoshop intending to crop I ended up toying with an overlay that made the piece much more vivid, like glass wiped free of dust. I'm really glad I found that!
