May I ask what the medium for this was? It looks very reminiscent of the concept sketches from Kingdom Hearts, but I was never able to figure out if it was digitally or traditionally colored.

Yes.
It is mixed media. I mean: Traditional for lines and digital for colors. Concerning to the colors they were done in photoshop in a very easy way...just filling with colors without shade.

It is just because I care most for aesthetics and style than functionality. That's my way. If you are concerned about the fact it is a woman, please check my male characters. They also use superfluous armors and show their chest or abs.
