I really like the armour design on this guy Although I can't help but feel he needs a different weapon.

A katana is typically used in a face-on stance with both hands on the handle, yet his armour Β seems to be such that his focus is protecting his weapon arm and the rest of that side while not being weighted down by too much armour. I feel a more practical weapon for such a set-up would be a fencing weapon, something you'd use side-on, like a sabre or a scottish broadsword. Unless he uses a unique style of one-handed kendo with that blade.

But that's just me.

I'm not sure if this your design, but it looks really cool, especially the armor of the trunk are. But, for this, I like the way you used blank space to show the pants texture. Nice work hombre

Well it is what it is if u you don't like it anyways.. I only reference the mid area everything else came from trial and error Β DD armor and mine share similarities but it's different if you study it
