I like the concept of a snail having a cactus shell.
The whole water retention of the cactus shell can feed into the need of snails to have plenty of moisture. So every time it goes in the shell it rehydrates. That way it can stay hydrated in dry regions for months on end.
As a critique I feel that even with this pretty creative idea for a fakemon it needs more richness in it's concept. Something to bind the design and concept together more. It also would probably open up better options for the name of it.
I would recommend making the face more reminiscent of ditto or gastrodon. Jelly like bodies normally have a similar face.

Thanks for the critique. One question though, why is it that I should make the face look similar to them. The point of me creating these stuff is to have it not resemble real pokemon. I just don't want the to look similar, but I can possibly get it to look similar.
I am currently remaking it even thouh it was just released last week. People like the idea but not the design.

If it is not meant to resemble pokemon why does it have the style of one? Plus don the name "fakemon" which is by most accounts a "fan made pokemon creation".
The similar face to help with the mouth issue.
It is not meant to be too much like an existing real pokemon but a slight change in face is not going to do that. It already has it's own defined trade mark which is a plant shell mollusk. A face is not going to change the concept just a portion of the design.

I approve of this one. It's very creatively designed; who'd think of a sticky snail with a cactus at its house?
Its concept is really imaginative! I like what you did here. The only thing that looks a little odd is the face... I've got that problem with every of your Fakemons, though. You should try to create a Fakemon with a muzzle or a snout or something! Because by now every mouth of your Fakemons is just a hole in its face.
