My second submission for the THE EPIC MOVIE POSTER DESIGN CONTEST II: AWESOME EPICNESS!!

TEMPUS FUGIT
The year is 2418. Humans have colonized The Moon, Mars, and hundreds of manmade space stations orbiting the planets. Travelling from Earth, to the outer edges of the Milky Way takes no longer than a couple of months. The Council is the ruling body of the galaxy. They have an army and a police force. They have corruption. They have enemies. For while the needs of human survival are no longer a problem, the lust for power still exists.

A mining ship on one of Jupiter's moons have found an artifact that scientists have dated to be more than 500,000 years old, yet it is far more advanced than anything known to our species. It has the power to move objects and people through time. The Council, realizing this object could be used as a powerful weapon, order it brought back to Earth where it would be kept secure. On route, the ship is attacked and the artifact captured. Knowing there were too many places to hide it, and too many places the Council Army had no cooperation, they hire bounty-hunter Sela Cale to go underground, and recover the artifact.

It's not long before Sela and her crew realize they may be in over their heads, as the more stones they turn over, the more villainy crawls out of the dark spaces. Now it is a race to recover the object, and get it to safety before any of the "interested parties" can get their hands on it and use it for their agendas. And that won't be easy. There are other bounty hunters, Council agents, Pirates, cult fanatics, power hungry mad-men and the leader of a rebellion uprising all willing to kill and die for it. In a galaxy of high-tech ships, energy weapons, and some things even humankind can't explain, one thing is for certain.... bounty-hunters have no friends
