Had the most amazing day ever, and was the 6th Summer of Sonic I had attended ^^

I like how Iizuka smiles so big and wide, whereas Hoshino seems so reserved by comparison...
...I always thought the SEGA Europe Sonic looked a bit off compared to the one Japan and the US use, myself. XD Can't be as bad as the suit that was used at 2012's event though!
I'm glad it was a wonderful time for you! I love Sonic Boom so can only imagine how much fun SoS is!

This was in London, I'm afraid! There's no Summer of Sonic in the United States, but there's Sonic Boom (SEGA's event) and Sonic Revolution (which is held by fans).

Sonic Boom is a pretty glorious convention, tis true! Likely moving to the East Coast though, and that's why we're setting our own up in California.

That's right, I remember that girl who won the statue last year had the same T shirt, she was wearing it again on Saturday. I keep meaning to buy one on eBay, but unsure of which size to get because the ones on eBay are all kids sizes XDΒ

That shirt seems an unusually small size. Β Normally I can fit a kid's age 13 size no problem, but this shirt's a little tight on me!

It was annoying not winning, but if anyone had to beat me, I was glad it was the little Sonic. She was just so adorable every time I spoke with her. I think her winning will have meant the world to her and I reckon that's why that last point went to her.
Next year I shall have my revenge! *Starts scribbling down costume ideas*

Yeah, I was totally gutted/shocked you didn't win! I mean you stuck out as the winner like a sore thumb, and I think most of us were quite shocked the moment they announced the little Sonic as the winner. I mean sure she did a good job and all and it must've been great for her to win being a little kid, but, in my opinion, I feel this is the only reason they chose her above you because of her age. You could just tell how many hours of work and effort had gone into making your costume and I'm sure if it was up to us you would've won a thousand times over
