Barely a week after hiring Louis, Novella was already questioning her decision. Though the man was an experienced butler who successfully handled the tasks that were assigned to him, he also had certain quirks that were hard to overlook. (Such as ringing her doorbell at 6am every day to cook and clean...)

Eventually, a sleepless Novella offered her employee a spare key, so that he could let himself in. The butler unfortunately misunderstood her intentions. Loathing his current living situation surrounded by people at the inn, Louis blindly believed the young woman was suggesting he move in with her, instead. A few minutes later, the man returned with a suitcase in each hand. Though it wasn't what the novelist had in mind, the thought of correcting him was far more exhausting.

This living arrangement was, once again, something that would serve them both well.
Admittedly, Novella is questioning why she didn't do a background check before signing a work contract with a complete stranger.
