Description
By the end of spring, Jack and Hazel could finally spend some quality time together as a couple, without Louis thirdwheeling. This would have been great for the both of them, had Hazel only been able to shake off this constant feeling of worry. Her entire life she'd been plagued by bad luck so it was no surprise she feared something unfortunate would eventually happen and ruin this relationship for her, too. Not wanting to take the risk, she decides it's imperative that she get her hands on something to fight her 'curse': A lucky 4 leaf clover!
This is why Jack happens to stumble upon his girlfriend rummaging through the fields on a sunny afternoon. The young woman confesses what she's looking for, but purposefully holds back on the 'why'. With odds of 1 in 10,000 she knows it sounds crazy, and yet Jack doesn't press further for her reasons. He doesn't need an explanation in order to lend her a hand.
Hours go by without any luck for the pair, eventually leading Hazel to feel dejected. She apologizes to Jack for wasting his time, though he admits he doesn't feel as if she did.
Getting to spend time together, no matter what they do, would never fail to make him smile. In that moment, Hazel realizes that she spent all this time worrying about a silly curse and what the future held, when she could've been enjoying this moment of bliss, with Jack. When he offers to search again for the rare 4 leaf clover, Hazel stops him.
She didn't need it anymore- not when she had him.

The warm orange color goes so well with the tenderness of the scene and it makes it even more romantic u///u and the green of the clovers give a great contract and I absolutely love how the clovers are more in front of the drawing giving that sensation of how distant or near things are!
