Michelle TrachtenbergMy 3rd vexel, PS CS3.
It has taken me over a month to finish this *Shakes Fist*
I am still not happy with it but I can't keep messing about with it or im going to end up pulling my own hair out.
The hair sucks but I do actually think my skin shading has improved so that's a bonus
Oh by the way , want the PSD file? .... sodding well email me before accusations of theft commence. Thankyou

I actually think you did a pretty good job for a re-do. The blouse thing looks better in this picture than the original DD in my opinion

I apologise for my choice of words. However.... after having so many people jumping to conclusions and effectively flaming me I think it is understandable that I reacted the way I did.
I had never seen the other "Daily Deviation" until the owner of that piece on another site vexels.net left a comment informing me, they had indeed done the same photo.
A vexel is "clean blocks , or shapes that make up a picture usually by using a reference photo"
An attitude adjustment? I don't think attitude would be the right choice of words. I would go with anger and frustration. That pretty much sums it up.

I'm sorry you're getting crap for this, for what it's worth I know you didn't seal the other vector picture, you just used the same photo.
This looks nice, but to be honest, I like the cartoony-vector art you did better, like the Lacey Chabert one and the Pixie one. It's just a personal preference, vector art like this looks too much like it's trying to be the photograph while the less detailed ones look more like art.

You know what, I'm sorry. A friend of mine told me you stole this from their friend or someone they knew. I trusted them, so I assumed that you did in fact steal this piece.
And you have to admit, finding a piece that looks pretty identical to a recent daily deviation is a little suspicious.
I am not familiar with vexel art and until recently, had no clue what it was. I didn't know that it involved sort of tracing a photo. I don't 'do' digital art so I'm sorry for my accusation.

And your insult was not needed. If you looked through my gallery, you would see that I have one or two digital pieces and thus, you should assume that I am not familiar with all the techniques.
Seriously, you could have just told me nicely instead of telling me my talent was "stupidity online."

i think the two pieces are clearly different, even if they have the same reference photo.the patterns are different, just look at them.
