Say cheese! My DU characters were kind enough to get together for this DU group shot
This is a quick 'cover image' I put together for the new DU Characters folder I added to the DU group. Within the DU characters folder, you will now find Heroes, Villains, and Support.
DU HEROES & VILLAINS - When you join the Deviant Universe, you can submit 1 "free" character (either Hero or Villain). Once you receive 10 Accomplishment points, you will be able to add another Hero or Villain character of your choice. After that, you can add a new character with every 10 points you earn.
DU SUPPORT - Supporting characters can be added as well, however, while they are free to add, there are some limitations. Support characters are characters that do not have special abilities or skills, or even soldier/robot types. Even though they would not need Accomplishment Points, a max limit of 4 supporting characters are allowed, and only to Silver members. Keep in mind that they cannot participate in monthly challenges, but can be used to add story relevance to a comic, and would not be used in special journals or votes.

that's great! once I get to silver i had a couple in mind.
question though, can they eventually be upgraded to a full-on character (let's say they gain powers) once the correct number of accomplishment points are earned, instead of making a brand-new character?

I suppose so, as long as we would see that happen in a comic story rather than it 'magically' happening by just writing it on their template when the time came.
