Thought it would be fun to feature our favorite Rebels on Endor. I've been playing around with the composition for about a year. Putting Ewoks in, changing around the placement, etc. I think the Force was finally with me... Hope everyone likes. Enjoy!

I think my Jedi skills aren't what they should be here lately! 1 1/2 inches is so small. I think working on small faces is extremely hard! While I'm asking you a million questions. What do you spray over the finished colored pencil drawing? Thanks for the information!

I use Blair brand fixative. Not really happy with the Krylon brand doesn't seem to be protective enough and it spirts. The thing about colored pencils that is a pain is that they tend to get a "wax bloom" over them after a period of time. To prevent or at least decrease this effect I spray multiple coats of fixative over the piece. Allowing for drying between coats. Thanks, bud. This piece was a bit of a challenge for me (since I'm color blind, especially when it comes to earthtones). I kinda winged it and pestered the hell out of my color "helpers". Glad you find it successful.

Thanks much. I felt with all the details I put into the characters I wanted the fronds to be "designy" (is that a word?) elements that's why I kept them simple. Glad you like and I always swoon when I paint Leia. I think this may be one of my best of her. Thanks again!

Pretty damn cool. All three look great and realistic. Love how Solo's scruffy-looking rugged face contrasts with Leia's soft delicate features.

Thanks, Rob. We never see a lot of Endor stuff(probably for the obvious "furry" reasons) so I thought I would draw what I consider the best parts of each character from that segment of the trilogy. Han's acceptance as a leader. Leia's thoughtfulness at realizing her true inheritance, and Luke coming into his own as a mature Jedi. Glad you're pleased with it.
