Well, many a' people I have spoken with in peace have openly and almost nonchalantly said that they hate France and think he is a quite horrid male country. They say he is a rapist; implying he forces others to the bedroom -- or the basement.

Well, I have spotted many things that Google has revealed to me on websites doing reviews on him - and this is what I found. "France is so weird... he's my least favorite character in Hetalia. He's a disgusting freak and a rapist." and.... "France is a jerk and an idiotic incest-loving Italian fetish rapist pedophilic freak!!! EW!" and last of all: "France likes his lovers like he likes his wine. 4 years of age and in his basement..." The last one of which I find slightly humorous; but the rest I find slightly disturbing. People do not even realize how intelligent and kind he is. I have been called at 1:22 in the morning by my brother, when we were in NYC for a trip. he was in the room nxt door, and I went next door (with a hand bottle of ice cold water with ice crystals in it) and started going all crazy ninja Russia on him. next morning he was a very sorry sight
