Description "Joy deeper still than heart's sorrow!"

Mahler's 3rd Symphony, 4th movement.
I can't link the youtube video here, but if you search "Mahler Symphony 3" you don't have to go very far down before seeing "Gustav Mahler: Symphony No. 3 (4. Sehr langsam. Misterioso)"--turn up your speakers and be prepared to be blown away.

"O man! Attend!
What says the deep midnight?
I slept!
From a deep dream have I awoken!
The world is deep!
and deeper than the day has imagined!
O man! Deep, deep is its suffering!
Joy deeper still than heart's sorrow!
Suffering speaks: Perish!
But all joy desires eternity!
desires deep, deep eternity."
-Nietzche, Also sprach Zarathurstra.

Oh wow. Just wow. An awesome piece of artwork inspired by an awesome piece of music. Not enough people like classics, so serious respect to you for that

The water looks so flipping real, and heck to goodness, I know that’s harder to get right than it looks! The elegance in the figure, the whole less-is-more approach, the highlights on the figure…

OK, I’ll stop with the spazzing now.

Lovely picture inspired by deep, deep words.

It is will to live captured in an image. The way I see it, at least.

yeah, some sort of pure ecstasy in that simple fact of life... of the fact that with any great, killing pain, there is a greater, deeper, healing joy to be found. Aaaah, I don't know, I feel like my words are so cliche, which is why I recommend people to hear the music...
