The only thing good about this asshole was how much fun it was to make fun of him. My god, he was such an idiot you could spend hours mocking him and not scratch the surface. Nice dictionary by the way. If I didn't know better I'd say bushy wrote it himself because it sounds just like what he would say (although we all know he is too dumb to write so obvously this couldn't have been his work.)

George Bush has challenged 750 laws of our country. Recently, he's been using things called signing statements to do things such as eliminating the ban on torture, giving himself control of the education in our country, taking away rights from the investigative branch of congress (basically the president can now tell congress not to investigate anything), taking away the right of the Sergeon General to investigate matters such as the Abu Ghraib (in other words, the Sergoen General can't investigate things that make the president look bad anymore), etc, etc.
In 4 years, H.W. Bush challenges 232 laws, in 8 years, Clinton challenged 140 laws, but in only 5 years, Bush has challenged 750 laws!

We do not criticize Bush only because of his speech. We bash Bush because of what he does in office. I wasn't a big fan a Kerry, but most certainly he would not have taken all of the executive power that Bush has.
If anything, we need more deviations like this one.

Yeah, I heard about that on NPR a few days ago. A signing statement is a way to approve a law, but say you're not going to follow it anyway. I'd call it a big "fuck you" to Congress. And if there's anything we need now, it's LESS executive power. At least, while that fascist is in control.
