Brief History:

If you've seen the film "Seven Samurai" by Akira Kurosawa, Nana's history goes something similar to that.

Her village was ravaged by two clans - Team Bear and Team Snake - until the elders decided to hire samurai to combat the problem. They each had to be capable and each of them had to be willing to work only for food, since the village had no money.

Seven pokemon samurai was the most they could get, each with a signature fighting-type pokemon. They fought the two clans and won, finally bringing peace.

Nana, inspired by one of the samurai, decided to leave her home and start a pokemon journey following her. Despite the samurai's resentment, Nana was determined to follow.

Brief History:
Valbrand was once a part of team snake, but once they were defeated by the seven fighting-type samurai, he was abandoned by his owner. Wandering the village alone, Nana instantly fell in love with this delinquent pokemon and took him in (albeit against his will).
Personality: Valbrand is loud, obnoxious and likes to punch things.

Gender: Female
Species: Heracross
Moveset: Megahorn, Reversal, Endure, Aerial Ace
Ability: Guts
Size: 4'11"
Brief History:
Eirhilda once belonged to Katsumi, one of the fighting type samurai that saved Nana's village. Together with her old master, they had braved many adventures and fostered a bond that not even the most tempered steel could break. Unlike her cold, hardened master, she took a liking towards Nana and saw her as something she had to protect. When the temporal rift caused by Palkia and Dialga appeared, she jumped in after Nana to save her.
Personality: Maternal, wise, thoughtful.

Species: Pancham
Moveset: Grass knot, Storm throw, Frustration, Rock tomb
Ability: Mold Breaker

Brief History:
Like Valbrand, Valhilf was abandoned by his trainer after Team Bear and Team Snake were defeated. Being from different clans, the two pokemon naturally detest each other. Unlike his Team Snake couterpart though, Valhilf is reflective and internally destructive. He constantly dwells on reasons why his trainer left him. Nana found Valhilf on a cliff side near the village.
Personality: Prince Zuko in panda form.
