This is the Tate of the Pokémon Cosmic Dimension or Cosmic AU. He is a male Duxadan Day Walker and the twin brother of Liza from the planet of Duxadan. The Duxadan species divides into two branches, the Night Dwellers and the Day Walkers, each adapted to one half of their planet's day/night cycle. Tate and Liza are the co-Battle Masters of Duxadan's Battle Area. While it is possible to obtain two Symbols on Duxadan, if you want to obtain them at the same time it is necessary to battle at twilight. As a Day Walker, Tate is adapted for Duxadan's hot days, and like all Duxadans, to that planet's arid conditions. The normal scale colours for a Duxadan Day Walker are browns or greens - his dark blue scales are a result of his Night Dweller side. Even in this reality Tate is a sore loser when it comes to Liza and Liza is a bad winner when it comes to Tate.
