I don't know why, but I have an obsession with 'warp fins'. Almost every FTL drive I come up with involves a whole lot of fins jutting out the side and back.

love the rendering! and great detail and design, you use white pencil/pen on black paper? cause it lhas a great effect particularly with the tone and sheen, might give it a shot, cool stuff!
