Well JTS is the reason why I started drawing as a hobby in the first place, plus it got me back into watching cartoons after watching nothing but anime in my early 20s. I have started out in the show's art style, until I eventually broke out of it and developed my own.

That's honestly pretty damn cool,and it shows,you adapted it into your own craft and in due time,it could go through another change again. Art never goes stagnant,only the artist,and from what I've seen in your gallery and the many I've been going through from many interesting works of the show,it helped you grow. And I hope for it or any other show to continue to inspire you.




I just got into it recently,only,since I lack the drawing skills,I decided to take up an amateur level of writing,I would say. I've been working on a reboot of the show from It's original Concept Art and add a few extra things in it to be from just mere Canadian slapstick or edginess it was going for into what could becomes character development,plot,settings,backstory and lore for the more darker toned version. I want to balance it out.







I'm not trying to sound offensive or anything when I mentioned that part above,I just felt like this could've had way more potential if utilized correctly. Not saying mine is in anyway,I'll adore the show for what it is. But,I thought,it could make for an interesting retelling that makes the characters feel connected at some point with natural progression.

There's alot to say,but,I'll just explain what I've got cause,hoo-boy is it alot,and this is all from just 1 month.

I wanted to change Miseryville and it's hellscapes to be more close to Greeks River Styx,Dantes Inferno and Paradise Lost Illustrations.









I want the design to say,Jimmy REALLY doesn't belong here.

As Lucifer did,so too will Jimmy,but,differently.

I wanted Jimmy,Heloise an Beezy to prgress from where they start off in the beginning

Heloise would even play more of an active role around Jimmy due to the plot of the pilot and a deal being made,she starts off by not liking Jimmy stupid smiling grin and choir boy act,literally not buying for one second he's mister nicey since he's in hell with them.






She'd go from deceitful,cold hearted and just plain nasty towards him,leading him to Lucifers office just to hear him get fried or be rid of him,to the event where she's hired to torture him to be free from her house arrest and extra surveillance from kidnapping and torturing other damned souls for her amusement,and due to the fact that everyone is supposed to be miserable here except for Lucy.


To just downright hating him,then developing a minor crush starting with a slow and increasing rapid heartbeat that makes her question what's going on,since in no way has she felt anything or any sane positive emotions for other human beings. And this is where her slow process shall come into play. She'll eventually start to get close in a personal way,from ehh,to curious,split and eventually see that he is as he is and realize she was wrong but,in a strong heart string pulling manner to solidify how much she may take into considering change to make Jimmy happy. Even add small hints of Jimmy liking back due to how long and how much they've been around each other or small moments when she shows humanity towards him.



I still need to make a chart for all 3 of them.








Beezy will go from a do nothing lazy,gluttonous tool,to becoming an active member that does something for his friends or just Jimmy since him and Heloise will butt heads in a different manner than from the show. That parts a W.I.P. And even share food when Jimmy goes through a bad time or few.


Now as for Jimmy,he will encounter conflicts with his morality of helping,saving or changing others with a smile. He will encounter 2 characters (so far) that'll make him rethink what he has learned.



Deimos would be the first character he encounters,a giant,rotting,enslaved, and harnessed demon,an ancient prideful architect who crafted Heaven and Hells structures or the original builder of the 8 circles cities and what Miseryville would've been had Lucifer not negatively influenced their other brethren (fallen angels) that he may not be a good leader or protect them,he took charge after their lost war in Heaven,most of the other fallen forever trapped in the 9th circles frozen Lake Cocytus.
Deimos would be the only one that remains as he is.


Kinda like the Dantes Inferno game when Lucifer at the end opened his chest and a smaller version of him came out to be,"set free". In the book I don't he was set free. Need to read it and look into it.










Lucifer begged and pleaded like a bitch when Deimos threatened to throw him,he and the other fallen had shed their giant forms and shed into smaller minor ones. He convinces the others that he may not be a good leader and how will he lead them into battle,overtime he doubts his position and thinks he shouldn't risk it all for his people only for a Civil war to break out between the traitorous Lucifers' and Deimos's forces.
Sadly,he would end up losing the war,and his forces get cast to the frozen lake,while others stay too frightened to do anything.



He eventually was imprisoned in what became their moon,Lucifer redesigns his entire civilization and drains him of his power to warp reality to his whim leaving the poor demon weakened to rot,his horns and arms stick out onto the surface conducting energy from his body but,forgotten and covered in moon and hell dust from the clouds winds and his energy is used to power the city below. He cannot scream for his throat was etched with a symbol of silence. 
 

I wanted Deimos to look somewhat like this,like Phobos here:

Only with more detail to him that I have labled but,It's a whole nother wall of text.


Pretty much he's fused mechanically and flesh wise to the moon that orbits Hell to create a night like atmosphere,and on it or inside it is where the giant demon lies



I wanted Deimos's design to scream, eternal agony,well sadly with no way for him to speak vocally,mentally however. He would communicate mentally through a incantation Heloise would read from a book she carries with her and casts it on themselves for the ears of man to hear.


Deimos would somewhat "speak" to Jimmy,telling him,"Mortal,son of sin,wicked flesh,know this...become their savior,exposed to weakness,you will fall,those under your wing,shall perish...and guilt shall be your crown to behold,til the endtimes and forevermore." "It is an effortless struggle,you cannot comprehend what awaits you..." Pretty much,even if he does no matter how hard Jimmy tries,they will turn on him,use him and ultimately cannibalize him as they did Deimos.



Jimmy would then learn from him in a denial sense,that being kind to others,saving them,being a leader,is not worth it.


Jimmy replies,"But,it was all just a misunderstand-" Deimos interrupts with,"No...it wasn't..." continues with "Their actions spoke for them..."


"Arrogance,ignorance,fear...misplaced."


Jimmy  states,"What if we help you?"


To which he detests,"I do not require assistance from those that clouded my judgement,damned me,to this solitary existence..."  
 

"Now...please...leave me to my toils..."


Heloise replies,"Welp you heard him Jimmy. Case Closed."


Beezy says,"Come on Jimmy."


Jimmy walks off,has a sad and almost defeated expression on his face as he turns away and clenches his fist and looks back a bit with a determined expression that speaks volumes like,"It doesn't have to be this way" without uttering a word and walking off.


But,Heloise would mention,"see what I told you Jimmy,you can't help everyone,or even trust them"



have him either respond to which then she states, "uhh...did you not see a giant demon melded in that cave or have you finally lost your mind? That is the literal meaning of stabbed in the back. You can't get more clearer than that!"


I'll work on that dialogue later.



And lead to a conversation between Heloise and Jimmy debating over about how things don't always have to be so bad,and even have Beezy express a few words and say how much he was terrified the whole time to Jimmy.


(We'd see those actions,but,not Jimmy,Heloise doesn't care but,might've enjoyed seeing him pee himself on the side) To which she brings up when you try to "play nice" you don't get rewarded for anything in return (as she assumes that's what his "choir boy act" is for,to make his life easier in Hell),that's the way the world has always been. 




I wanted Jimmy to have some episodes that conflict his moral compass and his way of bringing happiness and change to everyone




(There's more for this subject involving Hitler and It's an interesting moment to add in,but,I'll stop here,this took 2 hours to do)






Ok, so far I've got a few episodes named,some plots given,3 seasons worth and 3 one episode only specials and 3 endings for this story.

Discarded Red Robe ending 


I wanted to give each character,action and area a theme to play whenever their around,in that place or whatever like in Ed,Edd,N Eddy and Oddworld how music changes in tone.

I wanted to give her more attention, and I also want to start drawing more of Hunter, Chris and Andrea.

Yeah, they both have been working together since they were officers.
