Darius Asher is quite possibly the Imperium's least sincere "penitent psyker." A dangerous alpha-level biomancer with telepathic capabilities that are nearly as strong. Branded a Heretic (the "H"), clearly serving the Inquisition against his will, and supposedly controlled by a sophisticated explosive collar, he always seems just a few heretical words away from finally pushing Inquisitor Zayel into executing him.
Until the age of 12, Darius was brought up to be proud of his psychic abilities. In a life marvelously free of the Imperium’s suffocating influence, he never received the lessons that would have taught him caution with his powers, but also to loathe what he was. His happy childhood end
