Grew up with the MTA Subway system, especially with NTT cars, IRT & BMT alike. So here's a 2013 Kawasaki R188 on the (7) local line to Flushing-Main Street in Queens.

Background on the route:
The (7) Flushing Local and <7> Flushing Express are two rapid transit services in the 'A Division' of the New York City Subway, providing local and express services along the full length of the IRT Flushing Line. Their route emblems, or "bullets", are colored purple, since they serve the Flushing Line. (7) trains operate at all times between Main Street in Flushing, Queens and 34th Street–Hudson Yards in Chelsea, Manhattan. Local service operates at all times, while express service runs only during rush hours and early evenings in the peak direction and during special events. The (7) is the only line in IRT to operate a 11-car train of R188s (most of them fromerly R142As from the (6), due to CBTC on the Flushing Line); the only line with a bullet colored purple, and the only IRT line to stop at with a BMT line at a whole station, being Queensboro Plaza with the (N) and (W).
