Description A tattoo design of the Midgard serpent and Thor's hammer, made in PS5. The correct title would be "Jörmungandr and Mjölner", but DA won't let me use ö's.

No stealing, and ask for my permission before showing it anywhere, please.

Hi ML-Tealmp,
Your interpretation of jörmungandr and mjölnir is pretty awesome.
Is it possible, with your permission, to use that's tattoo template, by my own?

Thanks

...BTW, I think yr serpent head looks way cooler than any lindworm in Wiki anyway!

This is very cool! I love the drawing although the serpent appears to have an Asian dragon look. I'm not sure I'd have taken the serpent in that direction for Norse mythology but there's no disputing the quality of your work. Excellent.

Thank you! I suppose the Midgard serpent looks a bit like an asian lung dragon, since it's a kind of sea serpent or a lindorm ([link] ). According to the myth, the serpent was so long it could reach around Midgard and bite itself in the tail, and I obviously couldn't draw a serpent that long as a tattoo

You're most welcome! I am familiar with the Norse legend. I guess for me there can be a certain power of iconic imagery in both legend art and tattoos and the eastern dragon head represents an entirely different set of legends in my mind but I'm sure I'm over-thinking this. The fact is it's a badass drawing and would make a badass tattoo.

A lot of legends are very similiar, dragons (like tricksters and spirits) exist in almost every old type of culture, the Sumerians had the dragon Kur, the Japanese has Yamata no Orochi (for example), even African folklore has dragons (called Aido-Hwedo). I've always been a fan of dragons

Anyways, the Midgard snake with Mjölner was made for a friend of mine, he's gonna have it tattoed on his upper arm! Not sure when, but hopefully I could get a photo of it when it's finished.
