Man, it's been ages since I drew a random character xD I just wanted to draw something real animu and I had a lil bit of fun on the background with a cube brush hoho.I'm gonna try to draw Erylia though, I prooomiseee

It depends! I don't remember if you use SAI or Photoshop. If you use the latter I think there should be some default square brushes if you import them from the brush folder! If not you can quickly create your own preset

This is really nicely done, but I've got a question about your compositional choice. I like that you have her head project out of the frame of the background, but why did you then cut it off at the edge of the canvas?
The posing is great, but I wonder if something different in the scene or in her expression could have made a story out of the picture. She's waiting for the bus, but I see no hint of why she's there or why I should care that she's there? It's a cute pin-up. You do outstanding pinups! I guess I'd just like to see more depth to them (I hope that's not an unwelcome comment). In the world of Pin-up, I guess it'd be the difference between Gil Elvgren (whose work always told a story) and Alberto Vargas (whose work often did not). Many prefer Vargas, and lots of his stuff (or stuff like it) made it onto the noses of WWII bombers. I've always preferred Elvgren because, in addition to being nice to look at, it made me think. Anyway, my point isn't that one is better than another, but that there is a difference and you might consider exploring both...if you haven't already. Your style is outstanding, and a story inside the image would give me a good excuse to look at it longer.

If you want pin-ups with a story, then you should check out my Patreon! I have themes every month that'll follow one or many girls doing various things.
Also, I sometimes do some cropping at the end of the projects to make sure that the focus is where it should be. If I'd had the entire circle in there, there would be way too much dead space where nothing is going on. I could've made it a simple square frame but in the end I thought the square brushes would complement nicely with the circle-shaped frame

I'll check out your Patreon account. And I like what you said about the square brush and the circular frame. I hadn't consciously recognized the contrasting nature of the shapes, but I can now clearly see what a strong contribution they make to the composition.
