2020 post: Another one of my favorites! Just really satisfied with the composition! Obviously photos were used (for the clouds and water) but making it not stand out too much is what matters. So this is my (one-day early) birthday gift for my dea friend ! It's his lovely character Eleni exploring some more! Amylrun hasn't been able to draw her due to work so I wanted to show my appreciation to not only a beautiful character but also a beautiful friend! Hard-working and so much fun to talk to. Love you bro!

Thanks! I keep myself from using photos as much as I can in paintings as it can look very jarring! But yeah if you just paint over it and make it blend then it can be really good

I love this soooo much! The character design and the landscape are both beautiful! Is there any way to get it in a 1920x1080 resolution? My monitor is kinda huge, but I really want to use this as my wallpaper

Unfortunately the downloadable version is the full resolution! This was during the time when I didn't like working on bigger resolutions.

Gotta long way to go haha I'm excited though. This is such wonderful inspiration! I love the textures you've used and incorporated and I love how everything is rendered. It's all so tactile xD The clouds feel fluffy, the water feels flowy, the suspended mountains feel heavy, yet it's totally believable they are being suspended. Your sense of weight and mass and texture and lighting are all very keen.
