I see a little of Venious is rubbing off on Toadette; I did not see that coming.

She is... And yet it was too early to make her developping that grudge ... I'm loosing all credibility...

Ok, this I was not expecting. Toadette in a Darkland infirmary, and they're actually TREATING HER? I mean, it's their job, but you'd think they'd have less compassion for who is essentially the enemy, even given who the two doctors are.

Indeed that sounds incredible. The last time she was in Darkland, people were chasing her (some of them with weapons) and now she on the infirmary bed, partially healed...
And Kamek ordered it, what is even more umbelievable because he's one of the real antagonists.
Actually this case is just exceptionnal. Remember that when Bowser talked to Kamek about his intention to create a battle "starring" Toadette, she was fine (not in greate shape but still). But between the idea if the battle and the first step on the arena, Toadette has been hurt and couldn't fight at all. Kamek immediatly noticed that part of the situation.
So it's not that he felt guilty for having hurt her that much, ha ha ! It's still Kamek (besides she started it ^^) but he knew Bowser's little project wouldn't happen if Toadette was aldready K.O.... And this is the only reaon why he ordered the koopas to bring her to the nursery. Otherwise he would have let her dying there.
Oh, and be sure that if she wasn't with Samantha and Rudy Guy, Toadette wouldn't have been treated that kindly, even from nurses. Indeed They are quite special. Rudy Guy is perfectionist, he wants to be the more efficient possible, and I think the fact the patient is a young girl makes him act more neutral than hateful, even if she's technically and ennemy.
And Samantha... I... I just can't see her acting bad
