Description This drawing took a lot longer than what I would have planned. The thing that made this so hard was to find the right colors. I had to blend like 3 different reds to get this shade which kinda sucked. But the over all out come is pretty good I think.

awhh this turned out very good! i know the suffering when it comes to choose the right colors X0 but those color are perfectly matched and the shading is smooth as well ^^

Thanks! I was so hoping to find the right color without blending , but either the color was too red or too orange and I'm like really ;-; so I had to blend XD and I use cu tips to blend my work :3 works really well!

Wonderful job laying down the colors! The coloring is very smooth, and not speckled with white spots as is hard not to do with colored pencils. I love the subtle shading, and your line work is superb as usual. The colors seem much more vibrant t and "there" than in your previous traditional art pieces; Perhaps you put down more layers of color than usual this time? I know you did for the red, but it seems you added more layers to all of the other colors as well. However you did it, looks nice!

Irl the drawing looks like this, for some odd reason when I took the photo, it was really hard to see the colors, I forgot to mention in the description that I edit the pic to make the colors look more vibrant because of that. I don't edit my pictures at all and I feel kinda guilty for doing so, but I had to in this situation. But tanks

I always edit my pictures. When I scan an art piece, the scanner I have distorts the color a bit and makes the color much less vibrant then it is in real life, so I edit it so the colors show more. I don't make it look exactly like it does in reality though, since that wouldn't look good in a digital format. Instead, I edit it to make the art look good on the computer, without making it appear higher quality than it is in person.

Yeah I agree. I once tried scanning it, but it didn't turn out well. I would rather just take the best pic as I can with my phone and post it like that! Don't think my sister would appreciate me bugging her every couple of days to scan something since it's her scanner and not mine πŸ˜… glad I'm not the only one who edits photos when necessary! Lol

A scanner is good because you don't have to worry about lighting, but I can see where you are coming from with your sister owning the scanner.
