I wish they would just stop making sequels for a while and make more original movies that arenβt child pandering. No wonder theyβre not doing so hot. I am still shocked that they, of all companies, made The Prince of Egypt (my fave of theirs or very close). And yes, this means I am not expecting much out of the two sequels that are scheduled for this year)

I am already predicting that Trolls World Tour is going to become a guilty pleasure of mine though. I enjoyed the first one well enough and I have specifically been wanting to see a story that is a battle of different music genres for quite some time now. However I am not sure what to think about The Croods 2. I am definitely don't want to see The Boss Baby 2 though.

I thought the first Trolls was okay. It didnβt make me want to throw anything out the window or anything. I might see the sequel once it comes to home video if it because of visual splendor. Iβve yet to see the first Croods and I thought The Boss Baby was my 4th or 3rd least favorite Dreamworks movie (beaten only by Shark Tale, Home, and maybe Bee Movie)

Trolls is a big guilty pleasure of mine already so that is understandable. I guess I just find Poppy to be really likable and entertaining.

The best part about that movie IMO was the arts and crafts aesthetic (as I love arts and crafts, especially textile work).Β

Yeah. The animation itself was quite appealing in that movie.Β
I actually also really enjoyed the soundtrack of the movie.
