It's Pony is a charming and fun cartoon. Nothing about it is amazing or makes it stand out too much from the crowd if I am being honest, but for what it does it is still quite good. Not every show needs to be some sort of emotionally draining epic with action set pieces and dramatic twists. Sometimes just being a simple and funny show is enough.

After an honestly very mixed bag of a decade it seems like Nickelodeon is finally starting to get on track at least a little bit. Some core problems of the network are still their like cancelling shows too early and rerunning Spongebob Squarepants into the ground, but I think the overall quality of their Nicktoons has been improving. Besides It's Pony I also think that Glitch Techs, The Loud House, and The Casagrandes are quite good. With that being said it seems like they are going to more heavily lean into pre-established franchises for now on with a reboot of Rugrats, spinoffs of Spongebob Squarepants, a series for Wonder Park, along with many shows based on franchises that they have gotten the rights to such as Monster High, Transformers, Garfield, Star Trek, Baby Shark, and Big Nate. They are in an okay place right now and I don't know what this will do to it. I guess we will have to wait and see.
