Fallout Equestria by Kkat is perhaps the greatest fanfic ever written. At a massive 45 chapters long, it takes the ambitious idea of combining My Little Pony with the Fallout video game series and turns into a masterpiece filled with thrills, emotional stakes, and a very colorful yet memorable cast of characters.

So naturally the idea came up to do a crossover where Moonbeam finds herself in the Equestrian wasteland. Where to even begin with that was a challenge in and of itself. I settled for having her join a gang of raiders because I felt it lent itself to the most comedy. Even though, yes, raiders are violent, morally corrupt maniacs, who said Moonbeam had to fit in with them?

It was suggested to me early on that the raiders would have potty mouths so all of their profanity is censored by a FlutterYAY! It was originally going to be sound effects, but I thought this would be much more fitting.

The storybook opening was inspired by old Disney movies. I don't actually own a hardcover copy of Fallout Equestria so the photography was provided by my good buddy
