Description Introduction Questions
Give a two or three word description of yourself.
Not too dangerous…

Do you have any nicknames, street names, titles, or aliases?
Of course. Treacle Web, my current standard, then Web, Aranea, Spiderweb, Honeytrap, Saucy Jack once or twice...I can’t remember them all.

What is your full birth name?
Tracia Woserit. From both parents...haven’t used it since I was a child.

Where do you live?
Currently in the Camden Mystopia. The street name escapes me.

Why do you live there?
It’s a nice place, the people are friendly, and my current interests are nearby. Also, my daughter has settled here, it seems.

What is your citizenship status?
Accepted, if not welcomed.

What is your most obvious blessing or strength?
Most people don’t know I’m immortal, so it’s probably my looks...not the best, but pretty obvious.

What do you perceive as your greatest strength?
My powers of persuasion. I was gifted with a quick mind, and it soon leaked to my tongue.

What is your most obvious flaw or weakness?
I try not to make them obvious.

What do you perceive as your greatest weakness?
My emotion, I suppose.

Was there any event or cause to cause these weaknesses?
Nope. Born with it, just like everyone else.

Physical Traits
How old are you?
Three thousand, three hundred and fifty six, as of July 2012

What is your gender?
Female.

What is your species/race?
Human.

How tall are you?
5’9”

How much do you weigh?
I’m not sure...I’m slender and do a lot of training, so not so much.

What is your general body type, frame, bone structure, and poise?
Slender but not bony, long arms, legs and fingers, small boobs and not much of a waist. I was brought up to be a dancer when I was a child, and spent several years in china training to be an acrobat, so I should hope my poise is good. I don’t neglect my practice.

What is your skin colour?
Honey olive.

What is your hair colour?
Black.

What is your hair style?
Straight cut reaching two thirds down my back, with a heavy fringe.

Do you have any facial hair?
I hope not!

What is your eye colour?
Dark, delicious brown.

Does it change?
Why would it?

How attractive are you?
Rather good, or so I’m told. About a nine?

What is your most distinguishing feature?
Most people mention my eyes. My hair and skin can be a bit of a giveaway too.

Do you have any scars, tattoos, or birthmarks?
I’ve had many scars, but they’ve all healed over time. I’ve had a few small tattoos too, but I’ve since removed them.

What is your handedness (left/right)?
Ambidextrous, favouring the left for fighting and gymnastics, and the right for everything else.

Do you resemble some currently known person?
Not that I know of.

What is your hand size/description?
There are hand sizes? I don’t know. But I have slender fingers, with strong nails. I keep them short or they catch on things.

Do you wear a uniform?
Not at the moment.

What kind of clothing do you wear?
Usually three-quarter length black trousers and a brightly-coloured jacket and top.

What is your clothing's style or level of sophistication?
...well, it’s clean, and bright colours go well with my skin tone. As do black and white.

What size are you for various pieces of clothing?
Six, from what I remember.

Do you wear make-up?
Sometimes if I go out, and definitely if I go clubbing. I like to highlight my eyes, so I use mascara, eyeliner and brown eye shadow.

Do you wear glasses/contacts?
No.

What sort of vocal tone do you have?
I’m told it’s velvety...*laugh* I don’t know, really. It’s hard to describe your own.

Do you get sick?
Not as often or as bad as other people. But it happens.

History
Where is your homeland?
Egypt. It’s where I grew up, and I have fond memories are still there.

What are its people like?
Nice, mostly. People vary.

Are you aware of its history?
Only too well.

Are you patriotic or a social outcast?
More outcast that patriot. But still welcome anytime.

What are your opinions of home?
It’s not like it used to be. I miss it, sometimes.

Where is your home town?
It died a long time ago. I’ve been back a few times to look for the site, but haven’t found it yet.

What is your home town's name?
I don’t remember.

What was the area like and how did it affect you?
Very hot, as is to be expected. I’m still not fond of the cold.

Did you witness any historical events?
...most of them. *smile*

Are your real reasons for becoming an adventurer different from what you tell others?
Most of them don’t know I’m a traveller, let alone a serial killer. “Serial Killer”. That has an odd ring to it. Hmm. Anyway, yes, it would be different from what I tell them.

If so, how might such secrets be revealed?
Revealed at the point my knife breaks the skin, if I haven’t told them already. Or if I get left for dead. That’s happened once or twice.

How far would you go to keep such secrets from being revealed?
Kill to hide them and kill to reveal them. It all depends on the situation.

What would you do if the truth became known?
Depends on who found out. It’s not the kind of thing you go blabbing about. If I didn’t want them to tell anyone else, I’d kill them ASAP.

What do you fear would occur if the truth became known?
Not much. They’ve all died in the end, by my hand or by time’s.

Do you have any particularly high or low ability scores?
Rather high charisma. It’s all in the talk.

If so, were these scores a result of your past?
Yep, years of practice.

How have these scores affected your life so far?
They’ve made it easy to entertain myself.

What about your race, growing up were you in the majority or a minority?
Kids with roman fathers weren’t that uncommon, and I wasn’t the only one training to dance. We were picked on a little bit, but kids are kids and we all stuck together in the end. In Rome it was about the same, but Assassins live separate lives.

How were you treated by other nearby races?
Wonderfully in Egypt, but not without a few sniffs in Rome, for profession, skin colour and gender.

Were you persecuted for your race?
Sometimes. It varied.

How do you feel about other races?
They’re all so different...I’ve been to all lands, and lived with all kinds of people. The Chinese were particularly lovely once they’d accepted me.

Do you have any justification from your past experience for holding such views?
Twenty years living and training is enough justification for me. I didn’t just stay for the food, you know.

Were there any traumatic experiences in your early years (death of a family member, abandonment, orphaned at an early age, etc.)?
Death of my mother. Not too traumatic, but it still qualifies.

Briefly describe a defining moment in your childhood and how it influenced your life.
The day I killed Andreus, my first love. The look on his face was so beautiful...

What was childhood like for you?
Hard work, my teachers were tough people. But I played hard as well *laugh*

Did you have any childhood friends?
I hung around with the other trainees, and some boys from roundabouts. No one in particular.

What stupid things did you do when you were younger?
The same as any kid. The stupidest of which was running over the crocodiles that crawled up the bank nearby. It’s a miracle no-one lost a leg!

Which toys from your childhood have you kept?
None.

Why?
They weren’t made to last.

What do they mean to you?
Home and happiness.

If you didn't keep any, why not?
I didn’t need them any more. And they’d have fallen to pieces long ago.

What did you do to them all?
Left them behind when I went to Rome.

Do you have any deep, dark secrets in the past that may come back to haunt you?
*smile* I don’t think they’ll be coming back anytime soon.

What conflicts might arise from your past?
Hmm...the most likely candidates would be the Fairweather twins. Word is Benji-boy is still fuming over what I did to his precious Lottie *giggle* He’s probably blaming me for Jessie as well, but that was his mistake, not mine. I just helped with a little distraction…

Are you who you claim to be?
Almost never.

Do you have any sort of criminal record?
Not a record, no.

How do you view the heroes/legends of your country?
Some of them I met. Those before my time...they were something to be looked up to. They were all of them magnificent, but now...just stories. Still magnificent stories, but stories none the less.

Family
Who were your parents?
Tracius was my father, Merit my mother

Were you raised by them?
Mother until I was fourteen, and she died. My father took me back to Rome and looked after me until I was eighteen, and we stayed closed until he died two years later.

If not, then why didn't they and who did raise you?
...

What is your father's full name?
Tracius,,.something. I can’t remember.

What is your mother's full name?
Merit. No titles or anything.

What did your parents and/or foster parents do for a living?
My father was a spy and an assassin, hired from a guild by a centurion to check upon the moral of his troops. My mother was a low-ranking handmaiden in the palace.

What was their standing in the community?
My mother was intelligent, but a little dreamy, and was too young to have much of an opinion. My father was an equal to the men he worked with in Egypt, and in Rome he was the useful kind of outcast, and so accepted to a certain degree.

Did your family stay in one area or move around a lot?
I lived with my mother until I was four, when I was picked for dancing and moved to a special building. In Rome I lived in the guild until I found a safehouse of my own.

How did you get along with your parents?
I loved my father. My mother...I don’t know. I didn’t see her much. I liked her, I suppose.

How would your parents describe you?
I don’t think my mother would approve of my hobbies *smile* But really, it’s been years...I hardly remember them.

Do you have any siblings?
No.

What was your birth position in the family (i.e. last born, and child, rd, etc.)?
Only child.

How did you get along with each of your siblings?
...

What was your family life like?
Not very family like. I spend most of my time training or playing with friends after I turned four. But mother came to see me most days, even if only a passing visit. That’s probably why I connected more strongly with my father.

List all current knowledge of family locations, spouses, children, birth dates, schooling and any important incidents that only you and they might remember.
Nil.

Are any or all of your family still alive?
Only my adopted daughter.

If so, where are they now?
Living with me.

Do you stay in touch with them or have you become estranged?

Draw out your family tree, including living and dead relatives.
Merit-----Tracius
|
       Tracia-----Andreus
        |
  Andrea

That’s all I know, save for my Father’s sister. No idea what happened to her though.

Do you love or hate one member of the family in particular?
I was very close to my father.

Is any member of the family special to you in any way (perhaps, as a confidant, mentor, or arch-rival)?
My father was a mentor to me, and got me the chance to prove my skills to the guild.

Are there any black (or white) sheep in the family (including you)?
Mother was a white sheep, but I’m grey at best *laughs*

If so, who are they and how did they "gain" the position?
She was a follower, not a leader, and had a very sweet nature.

Do you have a notorious or celebrated ancestor?
Nope.

If so, what did this person do to become famous or infamous?
...

Have you begun your own family?
...I did. I had a daughter, Andrea, who died when she was Nineteen. I’ve adopted a few as my own over the years as well. My current daughter...ah, never mind.

If not, do you ever want to have a family of your own someday?
I wish I could have someone to last with me, sometimes. But it’s a life lived out alone, even if it’s not lonely.

If so, with who or what type of person?
Part of me says Andreus, but that never would have worked. Lust, not love, I think. There was also a boy in spain…maybe that would have worked. I don’t know, I only spent two days with him, but he was so wonderfully complex. I regret leaving, sometimes.

What type of person would be your ideal mate?
A dead one! *giggle* Really, I like people I can talk to, who don’t let on what’s in their head without a fight. Picking out thoughts and subtle emotions...not spitefully, just a game. Someone to unravel forever. And there’d have to be love in there somewhere, wrapped in all those layers.

What would you be willing to do to protect such a person?
Anything. I’d kill. Maybe even myself.

Is there anything you wouldn't do to protect such a person and if so what?
That would depend. I hear some people think it would be better not to live than to live without the love of their life, but I don’t know about that, so I can’t answer. Maybe self-sacrifice, maybe not.

Would anything change your mind on this issue and if so, what?
Them. I think I’d do anything they asked me to do or not... it’s hard to tell, with the layers. But that’s the fun. Maybe if I reached the last layer, and underneath...*chuckle* my, you’ve really got me waxing lyrical, haven’t you?

Relationships
Do you have any close friends?
Hard to say. I’m close to my adopted daughter, but other than that all I’ve got at the moment is Marcus. He’s more of a pet, really.

If so, who and what are they like?
My daughter is the sweetest thing you’ve ever seen. She misbehaves occasionally, but no more than most children. Marcus seems to think I’m his subordinate, and I’m happy to oblige him for now.

What is the history of their relationship(s) with you?
I met Marcus in a back alley just outside Camden a few years back, and after a series of unlikely events, promised him eternal life. He’s pitifully easy to twist, so I’ve kept him around. He’s just about outgrown his usefulness, though.

Do you currently have a best friend whom you would protect with your reputation or your life?
I should hope I don’t have a reputation, and I certainly don’t have a best friend.

If so, who are they and what caused you to feel so close to them?

What would have to happen for you to end this relationship?
...

Do you have any bitter enemies?
Too many...a few names do spring to mind though.

If so, who are they, what are they like, and what is the history of their feud with you?
Flavour of the week is the Fairweather Twins. As for why...why don’t you ask Lottie Glass? *chuckle* For some reason Benji seemed to take offence at that little incident. Poppy is just running with her brother...but I think they’re a little preoccupied with dear Jessie to bother me for the moment.

Have you defeated them before?
Of course. There was a spectacular punch up on Christmas day, right before I made my exit.

How might these enemies seek to discomfit you in the future?
I think they want to kill me...possibly make me eat something unpleasant as well.

What valuable or important contacts do you have?
I tell you that and they cease to be valuable.

How did you come to know them?
They called, with mind or deed, and I came if I wanted to. Or I searched them out. What can I say, it’s hard to refuse my offers *chuckle*

Which person(s) or group(s) are you most loyal to?
My daughter.

List any past serious relationships that you have had, and give a brief overview of the relationship(s).
All of them? That’d be a bit much. But significant ones...Andreus. Loved him, bore his child, slaughtered him in cold blood. The young man in Spain, who I had to leave after a short while. Benji Fairweather, recently, for an even shorter while. But a highly interesting one *grin*. And Tori-sweet,...well, that’s interesting as well. Oh, and ‘Rani has a bit of a crush on me, I think. You’d probably be hard pushed getting him to admit it though. *laugh*

How do you think others generally perceive you?
However I want them to, unless they have previous experience *grin*

If someone crossed your path, what would you do?
If you meet the Buddha on the road...

Who is your most trusted ally?
My daughter. She doesn’t look like much, but she’s got a strong will and a surprisingly vicious tongue for a nine year old.

Who do you trust, in general?
I trust Marcus to be incompetent.

Who do you despise and why?
I’m not a hateful person.

Name seven things you hate in others.
...I don’t really hate things like that. But simple mindedness and blind acceptance, they’re no fun to work with in the long run.
Also blind faith in religion and disobedience for petty reasons.

Is your image consistent?
Of course not.

Do people see you in similar ways?
Different groups of people do. I mix and match to fit the situation,

Do you deliberately present yourself differently in different situations, and how?
Yes, buts it varies. Changes in voice, body language and other behaviour...the kind of clothing I wear. Sometimes I put my hair up, if I’m in a hurry.

For what would you die for?
I don’t know. Love, maybe. But not much.

For whom would you go to extremes for?
My daughter.

Who do you turn to when you're in trouble?
Anyone who looks helpful.

What is the worst thing someone has done to you?
Tried to kill me? They almost succeeded too. Anyone else would have died.

What are your general reactions to an attractive member of the opposite sex who lets you know they are available?
Depends on the person. Letting me know they’re available sounds like an extrovert, so I’d flirt somewhat obviously. Someone shy, and I’d start a gentle conversation and find something they’re interested in.

How do you get along with others in the same field and/or work environment?
I don’t think I know anyone…

How can you be blackmailed, beaten, and tricked?
I’ve never been blackmailed. I’ve pretended to be blackmailed, but no-one who’s tried that lived for much longer. But I have been tricked. It sounds egotistic, but when you win as much as I do, having someone get the better of you is a wonderful feeling.

Have you lost any loves?
Several. Mostly by own hand, or at least engineered by me.

How did you handle the situation (short & long term)?
Nothing to handle. It’s a common enough occurrence.

Who would miss you, should you go missing?
My daughter. But I’m pretty sure she could look after herself.

Who might protect you?
Whoever my “friends” are that week.

Who might be convinced to sell you out?
*shrug* How should I know?

How close are you to your friends?
I assume you mean the group I’m currently with? They think I’m a nice person, but not an ally as such. But I’m getting closer.

What do they know about you?
Everything I want them to. Which isn’t much.

What do they not know about you?
Most things. They know a lot of lies.

What do you know and not know about them?
Not as much as I’d like. Surface information with a few glimpses of inner emotion. I’m working on it.

Do you live with anyone (house mates, room-mates, relatives, friends, near-strangers, family friend, spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, lover)?
My daughter.

Are you a member of any special interest groups?
“Neo-Necromancers”, according to Marcus. He’s rather…eccentric *grimaces*

What is your level of involvement?
He calls me second in command. Or minion, underling and lowly assistant when I’m not around. He needs to stop leaving his Dictaphone on my coffee table.

What is your current status with local law-enforcement?
We have an agreement. *smile*

Do you have a record of cooperation or non-cooperation with authorities?
Cooperation, of course.

Do you have a file with local, national or international law enforcement?
Quite possibly. Though I doubt it they know it’s mine.

Personality/Beliefs
Do you, or did you, have any role models?
Not really.

Do you have any heroes or idols, either contemporary or from legend?
“Idol” is too strong a word. More influences and inspirations, I think.

If so, have you ever met them?
No.

Did you ever become disillusioned with former heroes or idols?
A few times.

If so, why and what were the circumstances?
Generally because they were caught.

When did you decide to become an adventurer?
See new sights, learn new things…also, not ageing properly tends to make people suspicious. So I have move on every fifteen years or so. Oh, and to find new targets.

Why have you chosen to risk your life as a career?
For the most part, I’m not. It’s a hobby, not a living.

What do you expect to get out of being an adventurer (satisfaction, glory, money, redemption, etc.)?
Distraction from the continuation of living…if I keep going, eventually I’ll find something that’ll stop me.

What, if anything, would make you stop adventuring (death of a loved one, marriage, mutilation, money, position, old age, etc.)?
Death, or the End. Whichever comes first.

Do you have any dreams or ambitions?
To find the End. It’s out there somewhere.

If not, why?

How does adventuring fit into this dream, or does it at all?
Got to keep looking.

What are your short term goals (what would you like to be doing within a year)?
Within a year, I’d have liked to move onto a new target. I’ve been working on this one for a few years, when I planned it to be a short-term thing…it is fun though *giggle*

What are your long term goals (what would you like to be doing twenty years from now)?
I’d like to have settled in a different country with a new target. Asia again, I think. I miss it.

If these goals seem at odds with each other or with your dreams, how do you reconcile the differences?
They’re not. Unless the short-term thing stretches out longer, but then I’ll just stay for longer.

How do you seek to fulfil these dreams, goals, & ambitions?
The same way I always do. But hopefully with a little variation.

Do you have any great rational or irrational fears or phobias?
I fear being found out by everyone. And I do mean everyone. People I can kill, Towns and cities I can burn. But everyone...*shudder*

If so, what are the origins of or reasons behind them?
I’d be rid of a hobby. And lynched, probably.

What, if anything, would it take for you to be able to overcome this?
It’s not the kind of thing that’ll happen anytime soon. So I have nothing to fear, really.

How do you react when this fear manifests itself?
It doesn’t.

Are you willing to discuss, or even admit to, the situation?
Not usually.

What are your attitudes regarding material wealth?
I have it, but could do fine without it. It can make things easier sometimes.

Are you miserly with your share of the wealth, or do you spend it freely?
Depends on what kind of person I’m pretending to be. For myself, I spend miserly on things I need and freely on things I want.

Are you greedy or generous?
Again, it depends. But I’m mostly careful with my money.

Do you see wealth as a mark of success, or just as a means to an end?
The means to an end, of course.

How do you generally treat others?
I’ll be polite, and a little more friendly than necessary. Unless I’m acting a specific way.

Do you trust easily (perhaps too easily) or not?
I don’t trust anyone.

Are you introverted (shy and withdrawn) or extroverted (outgoing)?
Extrovert. But I can act introverted.

Are you a humble soul or blusteringly proud?
I know my skills and my limits, but don’t let others know them.

Do you act differently than you feel (concealing your true thoughts)?
Most of the time. When I tell the truth, I usually tell it like a lie, and mix them together. But I do sometimes act how I feel. Mostly when I’m between things.

What habits would you find most annoying in friends?
When they just won’t take “no” for an answer.

Is there any race, creed, alignment, religion, class, profession, political viewpoint, or the like against which you is strongly prejudiced, and why?
Nope. I’ve been around enough to know that there are all kinds in all places.

How do others typically react to you?
They’re friendly, mostly. And a little more open than they’d usually be...

Why, in your opinion, do they act that way?
Because I’m a nice person? *laugh* I’m practiced in helping people “open up”. Good at talking, even better at listening.

What are your most annoying habits?
I don’t think I have any...oh, but I do tend to quote poetry little a bit, or books. That might annoy some people.

What is your favourite food? What is your favourite drink?
Char Sui Noodle Soup and strong black coffee, respectively.

What is your favourite treat (desert)?
Panacotta with raspberry sauce.

Do you favour a particular cuisine?
Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai…most Asian things.

Do you savour the tastes when eating or "wolf down" your food?
Savour. I try not to eat too much.

Do you like food mild or heavily spiced?
Both, it depends what mood I’m in. But I’d probably take unspiced over spiced.

Are there any specific foodstuffs that you find disgusting or refuse to eat?
Tapioca and Rice pudding. They’ve got a disgusting lumpy texture.

Are you allergic to any food?
None that I’ve eaten.

What are your favourite colour(s)?
Fuschia. And black, it goes with everything. Bright colours and black, with a little bit of creamy white.

Is there any colour that you dislike?
White. It’s too bright, and impossible to keep clean. I prefer cream.

Do you have a favourite (or hated) song, type of music, or instrument?
I love Spanish music, especially on acoustic guitar. Violins are nice too.

What is your favourite bard song?
Currently “Supermassive Black Hole” by Muse. Delicious <3

If you have a favourite scent, what is it?
Honey and fresh bread.

What is your favourite type of animal?
I’m not really particularly fond of them. Spiders? Not really a favourite, more that I draw parallels…I’m respectful of cats though. Old habits die hard, I guess *laugh* I had a dog once too, a long time ago. A beautiful creature, but hostile and blindly loyal. It died, of course, but of age.

Why do you have an affinity for that creature?
Spiders are patient. They weave a complex web and watch as the flies smack into it, and wait until they are completely exhausted before moving in to wrap it up and suck it dry.
The cats…Old habits. Old Egypt. They’re not gods to me anymore, but they’re certainly something.

Do you have an animal totem or affinity, and if so for what?
Nope. Except spiders, as above.

Is there a certain type of animal that you hate or fear?
Not really.

Are you allergic to any kinds of animals?
No, thankfully.

Do you have any allergies?
None so far.

Is there anything that enrages you?
Would I tell you if there was?

Is there anything which embarrasses you?
Little things. Clothing stains, food stuck in your teeth...things that happen to everyone.

How do you react to being teased about it?
Laugh it off, usually. If I’m pretending, I turn an appropriate colour and either Fight, Flight or Freeze.

Do you enjoy "roughing it", or do you prefer your creature comforts?
It’s more comfortable outside than you’d realise...not so much in England, pretty though it may be. In warmer climates, I almost never go indoors. But for now I’ll stay inside with my central heating, thank you very much.

Do you believe in the gods or not?
Not really.

Do you have a patron Deity?
Not anymore. Though it used to be Hathor.

Are you devout or impious?
Impious. Not that it matters.

Do you actively worship and proselytize or do you simply pay lip service?
I used to dance. That was worship. Not since I was a child, though.

What lengths would you go to defend your faith?
A dirty look for the Heathen *laugh*

Was your faith influenced or moulded by anyone special?
The priestesses. And a little of my mother, I suppose.

Do you belong to the orthodox church, or a fringe element thereof (and is the group accepted, frowned upon, or considered heretics)?
It was strictly orthodox.

Is your church an accepted religion where you grew up or did it have to conduct its services in secret?
It was an integral part of society.

How did this affect your faith and life?
It WAS my life, from four to fourteen.

Have you ever been persecuted for your faith? If so, when and How did you handle it?
A little, right after I moved to Rome. But I pretended to drop it in favour of their gods. Still believed in them for a good forty years after that though.

Can you kill?
*laugh* Hell yes!

When did you decide (or learn) that you could?
I always wanted to, but my father showed me how. He started me off with non-deadly poisonings, subtle and impersonal. Give a rival a bad stomach ache for a few days to make off with his wife, that sort of thing. Shortly after that I killed Andreus.

What happened and how did you handle it?
The inevitable *smile* The assassin and the fool, head-over-heels in love, or lust...accidents happen. So I bade him meet me on the outskirts, in a back alleyway under cover of night. He came, we kissed, and I told him I was pregnant. He was so happy…I wanted to see what would happen. So I took my knife and stabbed him in the gut. It got blood all over my dress, but the look on his face was…absolutely priceless…
Anyway, he clawed at my dress, so I grabbed his head and slit his throat, then fell back on my knees. There were tears streaming down my face, but I wanted to watch.

When do you consider it okay to kill (under what circumstances)?
Whenever I deem it necessary or beneficial. Or fun. So whenever I feel like it?

When do you consider it wrong to kill (under what circumstances)?
When it’s discriminating. All people of all colours, genders and abilities and beliefs are equal. Unless their beliefs undermine that. Then they’re even lower than me.

What would you do if someone else attempted to (or successfully did) kill under their "wrong" circumstances, what would be your reaction?
Try to kick some sense into them and their followers. If that didn’t work I’d probably kill them, if it were convenient.

What if it were your enemy?
I don’t really have enemies. I am the enemy of other people, though. I’d still beat and/or kill the killer.

What if it were your friend?
*laugh* I don’t have any of those either! Still, kick them or kill them.

What if it were an innocent?
They’re a dying breed, the innocent. I doubt they’d be innocent if they broke my rules. But it would depend entirely on whether they wanted the apple or the coin.

What if the opponent were not in control of their own actions (i.e.-under duress, charmed, dominated, possessed, etc.)?
That would depend on whether or not they wanted to do it. Control works best when you build on ideas that are already there. So if they did, I’d kill them and the person who did the controlling, if I could find them. If they didn’t, then just the controller. Probably.

What would you do if someone shot at (attacked) you?
Fight back, unless I was pretending. If I’m outnumbered or in a hurry, I just run. Not worth fretting over.

What would you do if something were stolen from you?
Get it back, eventually.

What would you do if you were badly insulted publicly?
Brush it off, unless I was pretending to be something else. Then I’d act accordingly.

What would you do if a good friend or relative were killed by means other than natural death?
Move on.

What is the one task you would absolutely refuse to do?
There are a few of those, actually. Some people have really weird fetishes.

What do you consider to be the worst crime someone could commit and why?
Discrimination against Race, Gender etc…

How do you feel about government (rulers) in general?
They have their uses. Some need them, some don’t.

Why do you feel that way?
They all run differently. The better ones focus on giving the people what they’re promised rather than giving them promises.

Do you support the current government of your homeland?
England? They support me. It’s rather amusing.

If so, how far are you willing to go to defend the government?
Not out of my way. But I might throw in a nice word.

If not, do you actively oppose it?

Do you belong to an anti-government organization?

If so, describe the group and it's aims.

What form of government do you believe is the best (democracy, monarchy, anarchy, aristocratic rule, oligarchy, matriarchy) and why?
Matriarchy? *laugh* No, not really. Democracy can work well. But only in small doses.

Have you ever been persecuted for your political stance?
Nope.

If so, describe the occurrence and how it affected you?

Are you a member of any non-religious group, cause, order, or organization?
Marcus’ silly little group.

If so describe it, its goals, and membership.
I have no idea. Something about eternal life. Membership being me and him.

How loyal are you to this group and why?
I’m not.

How did you become a member?
I picked Marcus as an easily manipulated pawn. He just brought his own game with him.

If you are a former member, did you leave voluntarily or involuntarily and why?

Was it under good (amicable) conditions or bad?

Are you being sought or hunted by the organization?

If so, by whom and with what intent (to murder you, to force your return through blackmail or coercion, to spy on you and make sure they do not reveal any of the groups secrets)?

Do you have any unusual habits or dominant personality traits that are evident to others?
I tell people I’m a bad liar, sometimes when I haven’t really even been lying to them. Something about that seems to make most people a bit more relaxed and open.

If so, describe them and how you acquired them, as well as when they might be more noticeable and what causes them?
I noticed that when I changed my story to what they wanted to hear, people tended to become a bit more lenient with the thumbscrews. So I kept going. Mix a little truth in a whole lot of fiction and they’ll just lap it up.

How do you react if made fun of for any of these things?
Grin and bear it.

Do you have any unusual or nervous mannerisms, such as when talking, thinking, afraid, under stress, or when embarrassed?
I don’t get riled up easily, and when I do it’s usually just a mental change.

If so, are there any reasons behind them from your past?
Father taught me to keep my temper under control. And I’ve had a long time to practice, so…

Do you have an unusual gait or accent?
A few people have told me I have a telltale grace in my step, but obviously most wouldn’t notice that.

If so, where did you acquire them?
With years of practice.

Are there any circumstances where they become more (or less) evident?
When I run, jump, climb and fight. And dance, of course.

How do you feel and react if made fun of for any of these things?
Laugh with them, usually. It’s not something you pick on as a fault.

What is your favourite colour?
Tied between Black and Fuchsia.

What place would you most like to visit?
I’ve been to most places. I hear Japan has changed quite a bit since I was last there thought, so maybe there.

What annoys you the most?
Boasting.

What (if any) are your favourite forms of art?
Dance, gymnastics and acrobatics.

What is your most treasured possession?
My daisho, composed of a short wakizashi and shorter tanto. Hundreds of years old old, with the handles replaced countless times, but still as sharp and as strong as the day they were made.

What things could you not live without?
Other people.

Do you have a good luck charm?
I did, but I lost it. I just carry it in my head now.

If your life were to end in 24 hours, what 5 things would you do in those remaining hours?
One, Ensure that my daughter will be looked after. Two, Finish off my current target. Three, Screw a cute boy. Or a pretty girl. Or both. Preferably both. Four, Quick visit to China and the grave of my third teacher. Finally, go back to Egypt, find a nice place to lie down in the sun and fall asleep. In that order. Except for number three, that can go anywhere before last.

Do you have a "Black-and-White" view of reality or can you see shades of grey?
Grey. But I treat it like black and white.

Do you prefer to tear down or build up?
Tear down, of course.

Are you deliberate or spontaneous?
Very deliberate.

Do you prefer the town or the country?
Town, currently, as it’s warmer. When I’m in a warm climate I prefer the country.

If made to decide, would you rather be deaf or blind? Why?
Blind. We rely so much on our eyes, but I think I could train my ears and nerves to work without sight.

How do you feel about magic, myth, and the supernatural?
It’s all science and trickery. True magic is in the heads of the magicians, the layers of the myths, and of course the hearts of the audience.

Do you remember your dreams?
Sometimes.

Describe a typical dream you might have.
Being pestered by someone I’ve killed.

Describe your worst nightmares.
I don’t have those anymore.

Career/Training
Where and how were you educated?
Ages 4-14 in a special building in the royal grounds for dancers. Woke at 5, ate, started shortly after at sunrise and kept going until noon where we got two hours for lunch and rest. Then an hour of prayer, four hours of tutoring, and we had the rest of the evening off. Repeat for five days and rest on the sixth. That’s what it was by the end anyway, I think they were a bit more lenient with the younger ones.
Training in Rome was sporadic, mostly when opportunity arose for hands-on practice.
But the acrobat school in China was the toughest of all. All I seemed to do was eat, sleep and practice, and the amount of the first two was meagre and directly related to how much I did of the last. Totally worth it though.

Who trained you in your class or job?
In Egypt, the priestesses and two or three tutors. In Rome, my Father, and sometimes the others in the guild. In China, there were several tutors, but my third teacher pushed me the most. I breezed through the first two, skipping a few years of training in the process, but he stopped me in my tracks and made me work.

What was your relationship with your teacher(s)/mentor(s)?
The priestesses were really babysitters, but I loved my Father, and there is no one I respect more than my third teacher.

How did you happen across this teacher or mentor?
The Priestesses read my fate in the stars, and brought me in for training. When my mother died, my Father took me from there and brought me to Rome. Sometime after I left I met students of the acrobat school, and immediately sought it out and presented myself. They said I was too old initially, but I showed what I already knew to the grand master and he let me in.

Was your mentor kind, stern, cruel, indifferent?
Most of the Priestesses were wise and warm, and pulled us through the training very firmly. My father very patient and ready to go over anything at a moment’s notice. My first teacher was rather cruel too those who fell behind, but I kept up easily, and the second was far too lenient. But the third was as tough but fair, and he’d teach you anything if your were prepared to learn it. Overall I was very lucky in places, being dealt a few excellent cards.

Is this person or institution still in existence?
They’re all dead.

Were you forced into your profession by parents or peers?
A little. I was shanghaied into the dancing before I was old enough to know my own mind, but I asked my father to train me. And of course I sought out the Acrobat school on my own.

Did circumstances dictate your choice of profession?
The priestesses took me because it was in the stars. So yes, in an odd way, they started it all.

Were you a prize student or did you just barely pass?
An above average dancer and good assassin, and was the apple of my teacher’s eyes until my third teacher stepped in. Suddenly I was bottom of the class again, and had to work my way up through the ranks. I ended up staying three extra years with him working to perfect my technique.

Look at your skills. How did you acquire them (especially the unusual ones)?
Acrobatics as I said, at the Chinese Acrobat school. Sneaking from my father, as well as fighting and death from both him and various short-term tutors. And it’s all been honed with practice. Lying, manipulation and all things deceitful were natural talents, worked to a gleaming shine with years and years of polishing.

Have you ever done anything else for a living?
Various small low-level jobs. I’ve worked in one too many strip clubs for my liking.

How do you function in combat (manoeuvres, weaknesses)?
I’m very fast, very agile, and tend to weave and duck until I spot an opening. Don’t know my weaknesses, but doubtless I have them.

How would you best be defeated?
Trick me.

Have you ever received any awards or honours?
A few trophies from tournaments ages ago, back when the prizes were more than just medals. I’ve since sold most of them.

What have you done that was considered "outstanding" in your occupation by others in your field?
I’ve pulled off a few difficult assassinations…

What are your long-term goals in work?
Don’t get caught, and stay out of stripping. I’ve had quite enough of that.

Describe any traumatic experiences in your present occupation that has affected you deeply in some way.

How do your relatives and friends view your present occupation?
My daughter doesn’t really know.

Is there anything that you don't currently know how to do that you wish you could?
Die? *laugh* I think I could do that if I tried, actually. But I would like to learn an instrument.

Are you envious of others who can do such things in a good-natured way or are you sullen and morose about it?
I’m not the envying type.

Lifestyle/Hobbies
What is your normal daily routine?
Wake up at six, Shower, wake my daughter, breakfast, Hour of Training. Then it varies, I might go out, visit the café, teach my daughter if she’s there, do more training or stay in reading all day. She gets home around seven, has an hour of practice, then we have dinner, watch a bit of TV, she goes to bed between nine and ten and I’m off at midnight. Weekends I go out clubbing.

How do you feel and react when this routine is interrupted for some reason?
Every so often Marcus calls in, which is rather irritating. But other than that I’m fine with almost all kinds of changes and interruptions.

What are your hobbies when you are not adventuring or training?
My hobbies are training. But I make long, drawn out plans for some things…

What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
More reading, or watch a movie. Clubbing if I wasn’t tired.

What do you do for relaxation?
Read or talk.

What things do you do for enjoyment?
What, haven’t you figured it out yet? *wink*

Books and gymnastics. And planning. I always seem to be planning…

Do you like to dress up or down to relax?
Up.

Do you have a look or style? If so, describe it.
Almost-black with a little bit of cream and bright colours, especially Fuchsia. I like jackets and waistcoats, three-quarter trousers and above-knee skirts. I don’t like T-Shirts, excessive jewellery or flouncey skirts. And I adore pretty underwear <3

What do you normally wear in bed at home?
Pretty knickers. Nothing else…

Do you wear any identifiable jewellery?
Not usually. I don’t wear much, as it tends to get in the way.

Where do you normally put your weapons, magic items, or other valuables when you are sleeping?
Knives under the pillow. That’s about it.

What morning or evening routines do you normally have?
Ah, I already answered that.

What pastime (that you participate in regularly) gives you the most enjoyment?
Training. Feeling and knowing that I can do things…it’s a great rush.

What pastime (that you participate in regularly) gives you the least enjoyment?
I don’t really do things I don’t enjoy.

Do you read the newspaper? If so, which sections and how often?
Main news, most days.

Travel
How do you get around locally?
Walk. Or Tube.

What is your idea of a good evening's entertainment?
Go clubbing, find someone to screw and sleep over at his or her house, if they have one. Usually out the door before they’ve woken up, unless I think they’re worth keeping for a while. Most of the time they’re not.

Do you get seasick, airsick, motion sick (auto or animal)?
Nope, but I prefer walking.

Do you like riding animals?
Not particularly.

Any fears in travelling?
Was a little apprehensive about aeroplanes. Over that now though.

What sorts of general belongings or equipment do you take when travelling?
Myself, my knives, a few sets of clothing, money, Passport and other documents, snacks and one or two trinkets.

What are your hangout places?
…the café? But that’s more theirs. I just go there.

Do you go to a bar after work?
I don’t work at the moment.

Do you play pool?
On occasion.

Do you go dancing?
Yep.

Who goes with you?
Sometimes them, or some of them. Mostly just me.

What do you read? Scientific textbooks, historical novels, myths and legends, maps, cookbooks, romances, news magazines, science fiction, fantasy, horror, the newspaper, short stories?
Mostly fiction, but anything well written I can get my hands on.

What music do you like?
I’m sure I answered this…Spanish music, Rock, Pop, Alternative. And Classical.

Do you have a favourite artist, band or bard?
Muse has caught my attention lately.

Will you listen to or sing the same songs over and over, or does it drive you nuts when people do that?
I’m not really the singing type *laugh* It can annoy me, if it’s an annoying song. But I try to put up with such things.

How do you exercise? (Work out at the gym, walks in the morning, run marathons, play sports, couch potato, etc.)?
I have a training room in the basement for gymnastics and dance.

Where do you live?
Camden, on the outskirts of the Market.

Do you rent or own?
Own.

Apartment, house or castle?
A tall house squeezed thinly between two others.

How close are the neighbours?
Shared walls on either side. It’s well insulated though, and the people on either side are quiet for the most part. Only every second house has a basement, so it’s practically soundproof down there.

Is it a good neighbourhood?
Of course, it’s a Mystopia. They tend to breed good neighbours.

What colour is the house?
Sky Blue. And a little bit dirty.

Which floor are you on?
Ground, first, second and third floors, as well as the attic. Oh, and there’s a basement.

Do you have a lawn?
There’s a square of grass out the back…

What about a flower garden?
Some very colourful window boxes in my daughter’s room. She looks after them.

Does your house have an attic or basement?
Both. The basement is for training, and the Attic if is my daughter’s room. She likes easy access to the rooftop.

What does your furniture look like?
It’s all in bits and pieces, with coloured throws over everything, and pillows and piles of books everywhere.

Do you buy antiques?
Not really. But I do own a few.

What are your walls covered with? Wallpaper, art, photos?
I think there’s flock wallpaper under all the bits…it’s notes and pictures and photos, mostly pinned up, though some of the photos are in frames. Anything not covered by that probably has a bookshelf in front of it.

What sorts of curtains do you have? Frilly lacy ones, Venetian blinds, pull-down shades?
Venetian blinds in my room, light curtains and a pull-down shade in my daughter’s, big floor-length cloth ones in all the other rooms.

Do you keep your house clean?
I vacuum on Sundays, tidy as needed and a cleaner comes once a month.

Is it dusty?
Not usually.

Is the bathtub mouldy or coated in rust?
What kind of girl do you think I am? *laugh*

Do you clean it yourself?
If I need to.

What does your desk or workspace look like? Small and cramped, huge and expansive, covered in drifts of books and papers?, neatly ordered and clean?
I work in my office, which has a long desk covered with paper trays and files filled with notes and pictures and clippings, with an empty space in the middle for working. The wall above it has white board over the centre and two corkboards on either side pinned with more pictures and clippings. There’s also a big whiteboard on the opposite wall, hidden under a few wall hangings.

Can you find what you're looking for when you need it?
Of course. It’s all organised somehow, and I have a pretty good memory.

What colour are your sheets? Satin or cotton? Patterned with flowers, or covered with pictures of toy robots?
I have two, one black with big white dots and one plain black, both satin. One of my little luxuries *laugh*

What sorts of food do you eat?
Simple things, nothing too unhealthy. And never ready meals.

Do you cook your own dinners?
At least six days a week.

Are you a good cook, a gourmet, or a terrible cook?
Good, but not great.

Do you eat out?
Most days for lunch. And we get takeaways on Sunday night.

Are you on a diet?
Not technically, but I keep an eye on what I eat. Got to keep in shape, after all.

Where do you vacation, and how often?
Other places in England, when the mood strikes me. It’s easy to book a hotel room overnight on short notice. Occasionally I’ll pop over to France if I feel like bothering with the tunnel.

Do you have any pets?
Well, there’s Marcus…

Do you keep a calendar or address book?
Both. Two calendars, actually.

Where do you keep it?
The address book is usually on me. One calendar is in the kitchen, the other in my office.

Did you leave a Will?
Not really much of a point...

What does it say?
If I had one, it would leave everything to my daughter, and place her in…hmm. That’s interesting. I doubt social services could handle her. Perhaps Mayela…?

Miscellaneous
What would you like to be remembered for after your death?
If they remember me at all, it’ll probably be for crimes against humanity. I don’t really know what I’d LIKE to be remembered for at all. Some mythical reaper, twisted into urban myth? That might be nice. But I’ll likely end up as just another faceless plaque in some forgotten churchyard…

What kind of threat do you present to the public?
None at all to the majority. But those who catch my attention…*grin*

If your features were to be destroyed beyond recognition, is there any other way of identifying your body?
…Dental records?

How much is a pint of mead?
What, you think I have to buy my own drinks? ^_~
