The pic is prettu good, though could use some refinements. The posing of the two is well-handled, though is prettu unnatural with the angle. Shading could use some work but otherwise is logical with how the light would fall on them. I like the expressions, rather cartoonish though they are, they do convey what is needed. I think, though, that you could do with some life-study to make the picture a bit more naturalistic. There is a good place here on DA called SenshiStock, lots of reference photographs there for any poses you'd need.

Okay, can someone explain this pairing to me?
A: How does this make sense on a base level given their characters and personalities?
And B: Why is this anything we should care the least about when we've already seen the future by this point and know Batman ends up alone ex-husband to Barbra Gordon? Hell, she doesn't even get a token mention in the episode where he's recounting his past loves!
Oh, yeah, TRULY this is one relationship for the ages!

Thank you very much for your constructive criticisms. I'll admit this was a bit of an amateur effort, I'm really only just starting to figure out how I can utilize Photoshop to spice up quick sketches. And thanks for suggesting SenshiStock, I'll definitely check that out!

As for explaining the pairing, to me they're perfect for each other. Bruce has always seen romance as a distraction from the mission, but with WW, the two can mix. Unlike the vapid socialites he's used to in the world he grew up in, WW is headstrong, intelligent, and every bit as dedicated to fighting crime as he is, and she's a hell of a lot stronger so he doesn't need to worry about her. Just because his relationship with WW didn't last doesn't mean it's not an interesting dynamic.

As for his relationship with Babs, most fans like to pretend that didn't happen, since he's roughly ten to fifteen years older than her and it's a little skeevy considering she's in college and he's old enough to be running a billion-dollar company.

I'm glad you appreciated the critique, I always like being constructive (both positively and negatively) with my comments

My problem with the relationship is it came from nowhere and promptly went nowhere. If they wanted a second relationship to 'spice things up', how about re-introducing Andrea Baumont as an Anti-hero trying to mend her ways? Or put more emphasis on the Lois Superman relationship? Or the countless other couplings that have happened in JL? Hell, they had the Canary/Arrow bits AND the Question/Huntress scenes, and those where great. Why another doomed one with Batman? I don't know, it bugs me is all :¬\

I think they waited a little too long to get the ball rolling on Bruce / Diana. If they'd gotten a green light for season 3 of JLU, there probably would have been a payoff.

I definitely agree about Andrea Beaumont, I would have liked to see more of her than the bit cameo she got in the "Epilogue" episode. She may have been an original character, but that movie was popular enough to justify bringing her back.

Oh, I'm not sure if you've come across this one (and it might be difficult with the dumb way Photoshop handles its Pen tool), but you can use the pen tool to make a section of pure black, make the edge feathered, then change the opacity to make it look like shading, it looks real naturalistic and works for both shading and shining, depending on whether you use white or black.

Yeah, that would've been great, and they could've even made it an interesting dynamic to keep throughout the show, one that was intentionally made to be doomed from the start, rather than just a relationship that was doomed because it was, let's face it, not very well thought out to begin with.
